Ken (4) AA SRK, Super AA Air Tatsu, Super meaty counter st kick, Super meaty counter thunder kick, Super
I GOT ONE! But it requires counter hit (doesn't in the console): Cammy: Cr. HP - Super And on the subject of AA - Supers... C. Viper: H T Knuckle - Super Also, on Counter Hit, Dee Jay's AA punch puts the opponent into a juggle state, and can combo (not cancel) into super. And much more.
Hmm, there's also the Claw combo where EX Barcelona links into Super Edit: I think that cancels the ending animation...
Fun Fact: Akuma can effective zone out Ken if u dun mind a boring match. See my uploaded replay vs. Mack1n. Funny thought: his comment on his player card was "Suck my SRK". I think I got hit once only, and that was from a crouch punch combo. My comment was coincidentally "I luv fireballs" and I counted 16 hit him. For ken, I think they need a lot more effort and trickery to get close, and mistimed jumps and SRKs are their disadvantage. No disrespect for Ken players tho!
Welcome to the forums and community! You do you play? No offence, I also noticed this when I played you, but I for one don't look highly upon akumas that teleport and spam fireball. Sure, you can argue that in ranked you'll do whatever it takes to win (and there are some matchups where that is your only legitimate tactic (like gief v akuma)) but that's not the point of playing and you're really going to do that in friendlies too? I might be on the more extreme, but I side with Apprunner in saying that friendly matches here with teammates (and Denjin Dojo friends ) are for fun, skill-testing and learning. That's not something you're going to achieve by incessantly fireballing and teleporting away.
Well, you're in luck! FINIX00, the highest ranked Vega player is around here (somewhere). He probably knows the most. I also dabble in Vega a bit myself, so if you have any questions, fire away! I also suggest you look up some of FINIX00's Vega replays
My Vega is ok.... (I think..) not in a combo style.. but love to control the sky area but sure cannot compare with FINIX00 envy those guys can play Yun very well..
WSS? Welcome the forums.. I have played you much in friendlies. Very solid vega Had some pretty hard matches against you
hi Jack.. good to see you here... thanks.. but you are still stronger Hope to play with you again soon read though the posts.... found some familiar names here (esp those quitters... hehe)
Character-Specific Tournament, Pt. 2 Period: 03/30/2012-04/23/2012 Details: Who's the best at which character? We'll soon know the answer to that as rivals take one another on!
Did you post the replay? I'm not sure I understand what you mean by a yoga catastrophe hit after tech but am curious.
haha Felix, I think I may have jumped more times than you did! Yeayh, Gief is getting good, I purposly was trying not to rely on SPD... seeing how different things went. Your so technical man, every character you choose its like your a solid pro lol Please dont take this the wrong way, but you have to work on "winning" you have every skill and tool and execution skill available to get the win but you have trouble pulling it out! Thinking about it, I think it may just be a luck thing, you play very well, you arent too agreesive, you know what to punish and when... idk I feel like I should be getting totally trashed by you, either I don't credit myself enough or I just get lucky every time man... becuase your really good. I always enjoy playing with you, I have to defend against really technical stuff, and once you hit me with a combo I am always like oh no, here we go.... damage, damage, damage ow, still ow... lol good fights as always.
I am with you Heif. Felix is sooooo daaaaamn good. He should be 4k...its baffling that he has issues being at 3k Everytime I fight Felix, i feel like a complete rookie
Yes absolutely. Learning how to win is a skill that is separate from executing combos and spacing your opponents and zoning. How to close out a match is a learned skill. For example, I know the exact damage necessary to win my opponent near the end. I could go for 2 guaranteed chips shots by doing uppercut FADC uppercut, but if i know i need a little more chip damage, I will try for a low divekick, uppercut FADC uppercut. I find all the S-tiers have mastered the close of a match
