I guess when this tourney idea came around I didn't want it to determine best player. Just wanted it to be fun and give everyone a chance to win the crown. That is why there is a two tiered element to the game. Do people want the high tier to be a traditional round robin tourney and the low tier could be this 2 character max? People have to let me know.
We have to thank PV for that one! The traditional rule in the FGC is that the winner of a match must stick with that team/player and the other player has the option to switch to whatever he wants which is something I highly agree on with no limitations whatsoever. On the 2nd tournament, I thought of having a 1 character lock, but during the poll, the majority had decided for free character selection.
Fun fact: Akuma is likely to complete all the requirements in the bingo card, possibly in a 3 round match: Ex-moves: Ex- air fireball 5 hits, 7 hits combo: just use his ultra or super 3 throws: this is possible What do you guys think? I can't imagine Cyrus getting Gief to have a 7 hit combo easily, lol...

It's amazing some of the stuff that can only be found outside of the training room, or at least, easier to find outside of the training room. For example, Fei Long's Rekkas punish Ken and Ryus' sweeps.
Indeed. I did that a week ago (with the difference I chose 5 rounds, just in case). The only little issue are the 3 EX moves, but Akuma can build meter faster than average, so you just need to be a little accurate.
Guile's Sweep can punish their sweep if it is close enough. In AE, they can punish each others and their own sweeps at close enough range

Do you guys want to know what's f-ed up? Fighting yyojjo who has reset his account! Why is it messed up? For one he has less BP than me so when I lose it really hurts (and you know you are going to lose a lot!). But what's worse is that if you do beat him you will only be gaining a small amount of BP Anyway, good games yyojjo! He beat me 6-10. I'm going to upload some replays (some I win some I lose). Its worth the loss bp cuz u gain experience instead anyways..besides bp gives u bad rep, sustained >3k gives me less quits on v screen it's quite annoying
