well, I think it should be best 3 out of 5, but only cause use a char 2 times... So like let's say I fought Ten0nez, I pick dalsim first ad he picks rog, he beats me, I pick zangief he beats me with rog, now he has two wins, but would have to use a different character. I think this is a good way too do it and isn't too complex
So double elimination in everyone who loses first 5 set in high tier, will be entered into another elimination with the rest of the losers? Do you get a by if you like let's say make it to finals without losing, then losing the finals match you fight the losers bracket best?

APRIL 1-14 Hello and welcome to TouchArcade's Street Fighter 4 Volt: Battle Royal Tournament! This is TA's second tournament for SF4Volt and I'd like to make it the best tourney we've had. So please, continue to read on if you want to participate in the fun. The BreakdownThis Tournament will be split into two brackets, one bracket for highly skilled, S-Tier players of the community such as TenOnez, Slrc1, PsxSquall, Cyrus and others of the like. This Bracket will be a double elimination/best of 5 setup, I will explain more about this later. As for the second Bracket it will be consisted of all our mid-high tier players, this bracket will be a single elimination setup/best of 5 setup, which i will also explain about later on. Ready? So here's where it gets interesting, in order to participate in this tournament you will have to decide which bracket you will be participating in, you may either pick to play in our S-Tier bracket and test your skills against the best of the best and have the opportunity to show everybody what your made of, take your place among the top dogs of the Volt community. Or you can pick our "Regular" bracket, the competition is not as high but there is definitely a lot more of it, a lot more matches are to be had and a lot of fun as well, but this also means you will have to go through a lot more people in order to take the medal for this baby, think you can handle it? Rules 1.) Each person may only use the same character twice! Which means in our first to 5 game setup, you can only use Cammy twice, Fei Long twice and Balrog once. This is only if you were to win 5 straight games though. You may end up having to use 4 or even 5 characters depending on how your set goes. Example: D4(Cammy) Beats Apprunner(Cammy) Score=1-0 D4(Cammy) Beats Apprunner(Cammy) Score=2-0 D4(Fei Long) Beat Apprunner(Deejay) Score=3-0 D4(Fei Long) Beats Apprunner(Deejay) Score=4-0 D4(Bison) Beats Apprunner(Sakura) Score=5-0 (D4 Wins Set and proceeds to next opponent) -Notice how in this example I used a total of 3 characters and I never used the same character more than twice Example 2: D4(Cammy) loses to Apprunner(Cammy) Score=0-1 D4(Cammy) loses to Apprunner(Cammy) Score=0-2 D4(Fei Long) Beat Apprunner(Deejay) Score=1-2 D4(Fei Long) loses to Apprunner(Deejay) Score=1-3 D4(Balrog) Beat Apprunner(Viper) Score=2-3 D4(Balrog) loses to Apprunner(Viper) Score=2-4 D4(Bison) Beats Apprunner(Sakura) Score=3-4 D4(Bison) Beats Apprunner(Sakura) Score=4-4 D4(Makoto) loses to Apprunner(Fei Long) Score=4-5 (Apprunner Wins Set and proceeds to next opponent) -Notice how in this example both D4 and Apprunner used a total of 4 characters and both never used the same character more than twice 2.) You are not allowed to Switch Brackets 3.) You Must complete your match against your opponent in 48 hours or you automatically Forfeit. So to save time if you know you will not be able to participate please notify me of when or if you cannot participate in your match. 4.) Laggy Games, If the match is too laggy or unplayable, you have 15 seconds(in game time) to quit the match, you cannot have already lost a round or have lost more than 2/3 of your life. You may then try to reconnect with your opponent at an attempt to get a better connection and restart the set or whichever game you left off at.(If you have better suggestions for this rule please share, I will consider changing them) 5.) Disconnects: If you happen to Disconnect it is up to your opponent to decide whether to take the Win(Which is 1 game not the set) or Continue to play from where you left off. 6.) Ragequit= Disqualified(Im Sure you guys will be able to tell what is a Disconnect and a Ragequit) 7.) Don't get salty have fun. PRIZES -To be Determined(There may be none at all) Questions? 1.) What is double elimination? - Double elimination simply means you can only lose to games before you are eliminated. 2.) What is single Elimination? - Single elimination simply means you may only lose 1 game before you are eliminated. 3.) Just played my first game of street fighter since around Dec/Jan, it is INCREDIBLE how much my skills have deteriorated, it's as if I have never played the game before. I have forgotten everything. Lost to ten <1k bp scrubs in a row, then beat one guy who somehow was even worse than me (dude was horrific)...and he ragequit...oh volt how I have missed you Hmmm I wonder how long it will take to get good again.
Heif. I played the best/2nd best Bison in Japan . He had 3800BP. I think you and Fffan were much tougher IMO. You should just get to 4k there and go dominate
Well.... 4k is my goal in Japan, but for the time being I have stopped ranked... Just haven't had desire. Next time I want it bad, I am going to get it. I think it should be best of 5, not first to 5. The Japanese bisons are a complete joke..... No challenge whatsoever. For a few days I kept getting challenged by them, and I am not that good with the mirror match, but enough to take out two 4k bisons easily.. I watched their replays too, they are complete ass, very dissapointed
