Actually, this isn't a bad idea. Get tourneys for each tier. Make it more competitive for everybody. I'm sure Neco and TenOnez would rather play each other than pick on me or Hieu.
Two tiers. 1st tier: TenOnez, squall, SLRC 2nd: the rest I you believe yourself in tier 1, put yourself there.
Actually -- this isn't a bad idea. Relegation System, like Champions League. Upper Tier 10 players Lower Tier 10 players Top two players from Lower Tier move up to Upper Tier, and the fans go crazy. Bottom two players from Upper Tier move down to Lower Tier, with plenty of salt and hypertension. We can set up both "Regular Season" play to track weekly rankings, with " and every so often, do a Tourney for both Upper Tier and Lower Tier. Regular Season would mean playing every player in your Tier once (so, total of 10 sets). We can do it # of sets won/lost, w tiebreakers being # of Losses, and then tiebreaker of the head-to-head between those tied. We could give it about 3 wks ~ a month per season. At the end of the season, we'll also do a single elim bracket tourney, for both Upper + Lower tier all together (or separate Upper Tier tourney and separate Lower Tier tourney, up to you guys). That way we can have seeding numbers as well. Also at the end of the season, we'll do the relegation/promotion/demotion between the tiers.
Kara Tiger Uppercut is actually reasonably easy to do. f+kick, d, df+P -- while sliding your finger from K -> P. Kara Tiger Shots are near impossible, the "forward" from the "forward+kick" is still buffered while you're doing the shot, so you end up with Kara TU instead.

I think that's too involved for most. A simple tourney for the two classes is all we are gonna be able to achieve. If you are interested please state interest and if you want to be in Tier 1. I will assume tier 2 if you don't specify. Inthe group thinks tier 2 is inappropriate for your level, we will move you up. Hieu/D4 will coordinate matches. Best of 5, max use of character 2x.

Agreed, hopefully people won't stray off topic and bury these posts. Like Apprunner said, if you'd like to participate in the tournament please state so and verify wether you'd like to be in the Top Tier Bracket or Low Tier Bracket.
