Depends on the character you use. I use C.Viper, and I have the most trouble with M.Bison, Blanka. After that, Cammy, Sagat, and Zangief give me trouble.
Here is Snooper's match-up list: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2052528&postcount=8035 Left hand side, identify your character. The look across that row -- The number indicates how good/bad your character is against the opponent."3" means out of 10 matches, your character would win 3/10 against that opponent. "7" means you would win 7/10. edit: Snooper, could we submit a few updates? I think I have a bit more insight into the Viper and Honda match-ups now, and we might be able to have another go at this.
i seem to have alot of trouble with: ken, ryu, and akuma. Its because they just spam there hadukens and i cant get close to them because im using cammy. When i do get close thats when they use there uppercut punch while im furiously pressing back on they joystick oh and when a match is lagging its a guranteed loss for me -.- Oh and did you guys know today is pi day? 3.14159265 (;
Sadly, I find myself having to do this a lot in ranked matches. Because, I just can't play when I get so excited. I didn't used to get excited, though... Yun dream combo?! Whenever the screen goes black "forever," I just wait. Because it will eventually say something regarding disconnecting. You won't get a disconnect, though. You'll get your BP. I am expecting a new update to hit this month, just like in SFIV. This is just my speculation though. The update that came out with Sagat and Dee Jay in SFIV was on March 26th of 2011, so, hopefully, we can expect a new one out of the CAPCOM.
Apprunner is going senile. I've got a good tip for Akuma. Slowly advance. They'll keep walking backwards and throwing fireballs. Make sure that you're not too close to them, alright? Eventually, they will MOST LIKELY decide that they're going to teleport out of the corner. Punish them as their teleport finishes, because you'll be close enough to hit them with either Cannon Spike, or Spiral Arrow. Eventually, they'll decide that they want close quarters.
You have a few options against fireball spam. Jump straight up to avoid them, and get a bit closer into range. You can't jump at them after you see a fireball coming at you -- they'll recover from throwing the fireball while you're still in mid-air. You'll need to anticipate their fireball, if you plan on jumping over and attacking them. Otherwise, back+SP will get you through a fireball, but you'll need good spacing for it, and you can't do it too late either. A lot of the game will be about anticipation. Have patience. Don't forget, your Ultra attack will go right through fireballs as well. edit: a good way to see what can be done, is to use a Ryu/Ken/Akuma against someone like Apprunner, and that way, you can see what types of strategies can be used against a Ryu/Ken/Akuma first hand. There's a few ppl who can use cammy on this forum, so you might be able to see a few different strategies.
Two things, juls. 1. Your Gamecenter ID is your name in the game, no need to have it as a signature. 2. Mooken mentioned that your Ultra can go through fire balls. That is true, of course, but remember that you can also EX Spiral Arrow, EX QSK, or Super. EX Hooligan doesn't go through fireballs, but it can travel the full screen and goes way farther, and so much quicker.
Ehhh~ is actually combos which I always wanna do in live battle Ex Palm > shoulder > ultra > ex shoulder. Haha~ you must have did this thousand times~ but is the first time I pull it out~ smooth connection with heiu~
But you are GeneiJin Master~! and our yun style are different style~ So this combo may not come to your mind during battle~ oh man the damage is
I beat this Korean Sim quite well once I started adding patience to my Yun. And guess what? He quits on me (friendly). And guess what? He sends me a message saying "Weak Yun.. train harder." Want screenshot proof? What should I send back to him? I just don't know what to do, seeing as I really like it when I receive hate mail without anything to back it up because it is just hilarious!
I tend to forget about EX Kobokushi a bit. It's also rather tough when landing a Focus Attack, because one little screw up and you're doing an EX Zenpou Tenshin.
I believe the Korean Sim is plain salty and bitter that someone could out-patient a dhalsim maybe he expected a rushdown yun, which is what he normally beats.
I started with rushdown, but in an unexpected moment of excellence, I changed my strategy partially. He played it lame, so I decided to corner trap.
