That's it I need to resist reading them all together right on I can't delete it im a radio DJ and I have to use it for work etc but I can avoid the comments and that's best Give an audience to fools and they think they are superstars
Duh!!! You just figured that out?! How do you think we in the US ended up with Donald Trump as our president?! Turning into nothing but a bunch of idiots! No surprise at this point! ##
Guys, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I just heard back from Capcom about what the deal is: At least we can all stop refreshing the App Store now? That's a silver lining, right? RIGHT!? Anyway, it sounds like they're keen on having it go live as soon as it's approved, so with the approval times being only a day or two lately then it's possible we could have it by like Monday sometime. In the meantime, I've been playing this for a week now in preparation for a review, it's definitely finished and definitely very good. I figure since the embargo was up yesterday I can answer any questions anyone might have while we wait?
Youre the man Jared! Two parter: How does Dudley feel if youve messed with him at all, Ive worried about his conversion from console because he has a bazillion special moves. Is there any sort of clan or group feature in game for community stuff similar to a lot of modern mobile games? Thanks!
Wow Apple couldn't glitch up on the other crappy freemium that we get lol!!! I'm so annoyed lol but oh well at least we now know
Cool,I have 2 questions. 1. Do you know if the game will run on an iphone 5? (I imagine it would if it's on the same engine as volt) 2. Any online communication in the game? I know volt had the "battle network" where you could download replays and comment on other people's profile. Any idea if that is back and/or if it has active notifications?
Thanks Jared for being the bearer of this bad news... Of course it couldn't be "Fred's Big Fat Jambalaya Slots Redux" that got shit-twisted in Apples hall of mirrors, no it had to be what most of us have been highly anticipating. Great marketing technique. Let's all hype it for another week and if Apple's Geniuses deem the hype to be frenzy status maybe they'll get the release right.
Thanks Jared for the update. My questions... Any IAP? Any Apple TV support? Any 2 players one screen mode? Did they update the backgrounds? Thanks again!
Thanks for the news Jared. I won't be mad, seriously it is not Capcom's fault at this point, lets just be patient
Heh, well aside from the online fighting (which is hard to test before the game is actually live) the star rating is the only thing I haven't finished in the review yet. I personally feel it's a 5 star game, but it's also sort of weird giving 5 stars to a game in 2017 that's more or less just a refreshed version of a game that's from 2010. That said, if you love Volt this is quite a big improvement over that and you should have no trouble falling in love all over again with CE. I am NOT a Dudley expert by any means, but I have played with him a bit in CE. He has a pretty complicated moveset but they've done a good job at scrunching everything down into direction+P or K moves to give him all his different types of unique attacks, and while there's a few contextual variations on his special moves to be aware of it's not too much different from everyone else's. For the clan stuff, there's the ability to create a Team similar to in Volt where you can earn points and try to beat other teams on the leaderboard. This is another thing that's hard to get a full grasp of how it all works before the game is actually live, but from what I can tell it'll be like it is in Volt but integrated right into the game and not an outside website and it seems there's more social functions for messaging with Team members and posting to public timelines and stuff. Hope that sort of answers your question haha. I imagine it would run on an iPhone 5 but I don't know for sure. As for the online stuff, answered most of it above, but yeah pretty much if it was in Volt it seems to be in CE as well, including saving and downloading other peoples' replays. Oh, and it does have push notifications but since I can't really test the online yet I'm not sure if they work for game invites or whatever. So far I've only gotten generic "Time to come back and play!" type of notifications. - No IAP! - Not sure, redeemed code on my phone so not sure if I'd be able to transfer it somehow to my Apple TV to check. My gut would think no. - No same-device multiplayer, and for some dumb reason it also doesn't seem to have local Bluetooth multi anymore either. I have NO idea why they'd remove that feature. - The backgrounds are the same static images they've always been, though they do look slightly improved (VERY slightly!). The Character models, while still jagged, do look much better though. I've been doing a lot of bouncing back and forth between OG SFIV mobile, Volt, and CE and it's very hard to go back to the older games after playing CE.
A week of mostly crap games and this is the one they glitches go figure At least we can just forget about it for now and accept that it will be sometime next week hopefully early week like Monday or Tuesday Kind of strange to leave out local multiplayer Sounds good though can't wait
Thanks Jared, I buy it , I've not played much of street fighter, I wanted an iPad ( universal app) so coming in rather new, was going to buy street fighter on switch bought bunch of indies instead
I feel the exact same way!! Like really apple let's release carebear free games but not the one premium we wanted
It sounds like they need to resubmit it, why haven't they done that already? Should only take a day for approval I'd they did it (and apple knows about the glitch) -- would have most likely been available Saturday.
Apple make mistakes I suppose rather big one, guess Apple rather big company haha no one fault, it come Monday, I thought Saturday was release plan as more people are off so more people buy
