I'll stick to Ultra Street Fighter 4 on my PS4, which I got on the PS Store for just £2 more than this version.
Lets goooooooooooooo!! Not sure if Yadier shared on previous post but we have team TouchArcade up in game!
Just downloaded and gave a quick play. I had zero issues with the touch controls zero lag issues. Don't necessarily agree with some of the complaints.
Last time I played any Street Fighter game was about 2000-2001 so no complaints will be lodged by me Back in the day at arcade and on console this was one I truly loved and I'm glad to be playing it again but I am rusty hahaha I just can't believe I haven't played it in so long but that's cool too because it makes it even more enjoyable
On your profile tap your team name, then at the bottom of the page youll have the "Search Team" button, look for TouchArcade, then you select the team and tap the join button right on the window, I just joined #
Does this game cloud save? I seem to remember Volt stored all data locally when it first came out (not sure if this changed).
If you dont have an answer in about 2 hours ill try it out and let you know Edit : Yes, yes you can ! Just had a match over LTE, absolutely no lag !
If it helps, I just tried playing a Free Match online using my 4G. I managed to connect but the match was extremely choppy to the point that I had to abort the game. Game via my WiFi seems to play fine.
Got the game, joined touch arcade group. I also bought the Poison icon New UI is fucing great and the game does look allot better up close. The only thing that I hope is that they bring back free sparring. This update gives me a little hope for the future of SFV. Please new UI for that game please CC lol
Finally.... Grateful AND baffled... I have been checking in to online forums for several years now, hoping to find more info about any possible development/improvement of SF Volt... and then, after years of waiting and looking.... BOOM! They announce this game! I am super happy that the finally made some changes (widescreen, improved sprites, expanded roster) but let's be real... iOS hardware is capable of so much more... isn't there enough financial incentive to really make a 3D SF game for handheld? How expensive can it really be to take an existing game... maybe even an xbox360 or ps3 version and port it to mobile, with some limitations? I'm not a developer or programmer, but I have to believe that taking existing assets/art/music and downgrading them if necessary has to be easier than creating something from scratch?
Everything looks decent and feel good. Except background. Those backgrounds are meaningless. These are feels like theater decors more than envoirment. Why they dont make just 2d backgrounds just like the charachters? Even this about money? Nah! I think capcom trying how much SF mobile sell? Maybe if eveything went good, we will see 3D sf? I hope
Are they using the old assets Seems like it other than that all good I agree background isn't alive but def not a deal breaker and worth every cent
