Is anyone else noticing the jerkiness as the screen pans across levels? Can't help but point it out - it takes a bit away from the experience... it's as if the frame rate isn't quite there. Running the game on an iPad 2 - 4.3.1
I haven't noticed it on my iPod Touch 4. I can tell it's not exactly 60fps but the frame rate has been consistent, no real jerks or stutters to speak of.
Definitely another great platformer, which we've been seeing quite a bit of as of lately. There's a "new" feel to the gameplay with the very floaty character. It follows in the same vein as recent platformers, focusing on grabbing everything and completing the level in the fastest time possible, but that's not a bad thing. Definitely something pretty innovative and worth checking out if you're a platformer fan. The levels ramp up in difficulty fairly quickly, and there's plenty of content here, especially for completionists.
Where, we're back to this, I see. backtothis, whenever I say that it means I agree with you 100 percent.
I'm not sure if you're taking this into account, but you can also press the area around the buttons and it'll still register, it doesn't have to be perfectly on the graphic.
I'm embarassed to say i'm a bit stuck on level 3 ! Just gone past two rotating things and got a key, then i have to head back and i cant seem to jump/float over them. Arrgh ! LOVE the graphics and the look and feel of it, the way you jump/float works pretty well. But looks gorgeous Cant believe i'm stuck though ! (ahem)
Ok, here are the impressions about Storm in a teacup: It's an excellent platformer IMO, the fact the main character is flying and moving sitting in a teacup has a "Mary Poppins-style", very funny. I've played only 10 levels and I have to admit the difficulty is not high until now...anyway the replayability is guaranteed by the fact u can replay (and u will do it, believe me!) a level to get the "gadgets" scattered in all levels, to not die even a single time and to collect all the ice cubes (this means u have completed a level perfectly). Of course u not need to complete a level at 100% and u can go to the finish point directly. It needs some minutes to get used to the "double-tap" in order to make fly your teacup the highest possible, but it's not frustrating. What else? Oh, the controls are perfect, responsive and everything...u are hooked to the game from the first seconds of gameplay and...uhmm...the artwork is fine. All in all, for this price Storm in a teacup is a so-called "must have". I hope to have been exhaustive!

Between Doodle Jump 2 and this game, it seems like the next evolution in platforming has been found: limited jetpack mode.
How do you guys work out the double tap jump thingy ? I had to tap it multiple times (like a lot of times) to get it to jump really high . I tried double tapping and holding on the second but it doesn't seem to go high enough .
For some reason I am loving this game. Everything about it just works, hard to pinpoint one aspect of the game that really makes it fun because all of the elements are so strong. Been enjoying it a lot more than Bumpy Road, that game is really difficult to get the hang of.
