let me say from the start i am not a movie maker :)
not even budding.....at least i thought so until i threw my 99c at this app.

Its brilliant, you can even just sit in the pub and within 5 minutes have a film of your beer running round the table !

Ok wallace and grommit have got nothing to fear.......yet :D

I actually got a copy from a friend and I was blown away with how fun this is to use.

I love the snap feature where you can make a sharp sound (snap, clap, etc) and it takes the next picture for you.

The prefered method is using a digital camera and not a regular video camera, that way you can manipulate the pictures to give the illusion of motion.

However, if you got a very limited budget, a video camera should do fine, especially if it got a feature to make a stop motion animation. If you can get a digital camera with a feature to make a stop motion animation, that's even better.

How to make a stop motion animation?

    1. You set up the objects and their backgrounds

    2. You take a photo of the objects and their backgrounds

    3. You set up the objects and their backgrounds in a different way

    4. You take a photo of the objects and their backgrounds

    And so on...

Steps 3 and 4 are repeats of steps 1 and 2, you kept repeating them until you gained the desired length.

er....it does use the camera and not a video camera

i know your new here but please read the posts before just replying randomly.
and if here as for example you dont know the app, go and look at appshopper or in itunes for what it does before replying, as you would then see that it does exactly what you said, with onion skinning etc
