Stock apps descriptions, why do they write "s***k" instead of "stock"?

I have been browsing through some stock apps and noticed that in the descriptions they replace the word "stock" with "s***k". This is true for all the stock apps I have seen so far. Even the Bloomberg app. Does anyone know why they do this?

Strange. Is it Apple that replaces the words, or is this done by the developers when they write the description?

Can you give an example? I don't see s****k replacing the word "stock" in any of them, not even Bloomberg.

iTunes censorship is funny. There is an children's app description that refers to the sound a rooster makes as ****adoodledoo. Nobody is actually minding the store. :p

This is so weird. It only appears to look like this in the Swedish App Store. I have looked at the US, UK and the Norwegian App Store and none of them replaces stock with s****k. You can check yourself by changing the store in iTunes.

I guess 'stock' means something spicy in Swedish?
