Apple CEO and company talisman Steve Jobs has reportedly been given just six weeks to live after he was spotted outside the Stanford Cancer Center in Palo Alto, California.

Reported by the National Enquirer, a US-based tabloid, a “skeletal-looking” Jobs was snapped leaving the cancer specialist after lunching with his wife. In a somewhat un-scientific move the paper then passed the images on to critical-care physician Dr Samuel Jacobson for analysis.

“He is terminal. What you are seeing is extreme muscle wasting from calorie depravation, most likely caused by cancer. He has no muscle left in his buttocks, which is the last place to go."

I'd be smoking a shit ton of pot if I were him right now. Go out peacefully, that sounds painful. Poor dude. If this is real, via con dios, Steve Jobs.

Tough shit. You get famous, it happens. Whining about it makes you look like some kind of idiot that didn't see it coming.

I believe there is another "get well" thread for Mr. Jobs where this was mentioned.

  10. National Enquirer isn't exactly the most reliable news source...

National Enquirer also ran a story about Bat-Boy, the half bat, half boy hybrid that lives in New York's subway tunnels.

Well, clearly National Enquirer is the best at getting to the bottom of things.

He just met with the president this week, doubt he'd be wasting time having lunch with Obama and Zuckerberg if he only had 6 weeks to live. Could be wrong though lol, I still wouldn't believe anything I read in anything with Enquirer in its title.

damm....i hope this isnt true. Steve job has done so much not just for apple, but the general progression of technology and consumer electronics. I think it would be a big blow for apple if he died in a month.

On a slightly brighter note, maybe when he dies his conscious will download into a new body, or an imac, maybe even an iphone. either that or i watched way to much battlestar galactica last night.

That's bad news. The Apple stock market will go down incredibly if he dies. If this is true, whoever bought stocks should sell them asap.

But, seriously though, it would be a tough loss if Mr. Jobs died. I'm sort of curious as to what Apple will do next if this possibly happens sooner or later...:(

The National Enquirer just reported that it was officially announced, his last day with us will be December 21, 2012.

There have been reports like this in the past. Until I here it from Steve itself I refuse to believe it. Then again he is the modern Jesus so in a day or two we would be all set for the iPhone release.
