Yes! The Stenches development is going great! We should start getting screenshots for you in the near future to show our advances on the development process. One of the cooler features is the pick up and playability we are adding with our new "star" based wave modes and map selection. It is pretty darn cool!

I like the whole idea of the trench warfare with zombies idea maybe as a suggestion a mode which once your troops die they become zombies? Also different nations, France, America, Canada and Germany not only as a human but also as zombies, rather than just German zombie enemies. More troop types possibly, i.e. flamethrowers, medics and more support, possibly zepplins playing a role or airplanes having a primitive strafing run. Tanks could play a role, however this could take some fun out of the sense of the game. Maybe zombies could rise from the ground behind troops and capture previously left bunkers, meaning players cannot just surge all their forces foreward in one..... Just a few ideas
any chance you will update Trenches with the new art from stenches? Retina display Trenches would make many people happy =P
Sorry about the temporary absence! We've all had our heads buried deep into the game as we are working on the final stages! Yes, that's right... we will soon have Stenches available to the world!

Alas, the weekend! First of all, thank you all for supporting us in our development of the Trenches brand. You've allowed us to continue our work to bring more games to you. Stenches, as mentioned, is a spin-off of Trenches but focused on the Zombie Horde aspect. There is a small variety of enemy zombies with different attributes. (Non of the names listed are actual zombie names.) The Brute Zombie is a massive juggernaut whoms sheer power is something to be feared. The Jumper is an agile, near wolf-like zombie who is capability of rapidly crossing the battlefield and jumping trenches. The Bomber is a spider-like gas filled zombie that exploded when shot. Be careful to stay out of his blast radius or your squads may fall ill. GAMEPLAY: Gameplay will vary from Trenches since you do not have missions or skirmishes. Like Fieldrunners, you will be tasked with surviving waves of increasingly challenging foes. During each wave, you are ranked on how well you do and receive a star rank to show how well you did on that wave. After the completion of predetermined amount of waves, you will unlock the next map. The Maps: Each map has its own unique attributes. For example, The Swamplands has a bog that sucks down friendly units if they stand in 1 place for too long. The City is going through a thunder storm and random lighting bolts will strike down, possibly vaporizing your forces. There are more levels. Screenshots to come later this weekend. We plan to submit by Oct. 18th, in time for the Halloween celebrations! Keep your fingers crossed!
