Contraband question In order to carry this on your ship you must have the special hold equipped on your ship, correct? And if that is equipped does that mean if I destroy a pirate ship carrying contraband does this mean a normal tractor beam can pull it in? Does it matter which ship I'm using? Because I had that special hold compartment equipped on the initial ship that smith gives you but for some reason I couldn't pull it in regardless of how close I got to it. Or is this compartment only for smuggling stuff that someone gives you as part of a mission? Thx for the help guys
The side missions will respawn from time to time, or if you play them. Also, since the side missions are tuned to your level, the side missions will regenerate if you level up.
Hi, You can pull all contraband items by tapping on it (even if you don't have the smuggler compartment). I'm looking to make the pull automatic if you have the smuggler compartment equipped (but this in a future update). If you have a contraband item in your cargo when you jump, you will be scanned and engaged by local security.
Ahhh, ok you have to tap on it. I assumed the tractor would pull it in. Another question: if I pull into a port and buy all 10 missiles that are available, does that ever replenish? Or is it out and I have to find stock in a different port? Thx again
Hi guys, a new update has just been pushed live, mostly with fixes/updates related to feedback from here: - fixed the "stuck joystick" issue - reduced (a bit) the rate of random pirate encounters - added option to use Roll/Pitch instead of Yaw/Pitch - added option to use "Hardcore" auto aiming (for those who need an extra challenge, the auto-aiming radius is halved)
Cool update! I wish I could yaw and roll (I use accelerometer aiming), though. What exactly does hardcore aiming do? Haven't had a chance to try much of it yet.
Has the update removed the 'soft focus' effect in space? Uninstalled for a while and now everything now seems much sharper (good!) during flight Personally, I like lots of pirates! How else can I 'mine' for contraband? ;D It looks great. Definitely more my kind of game than Strike Wing and a worthy competitor to GOF2. Most definitely enjoying it more than Rogue Star. Looking forward to a larger map, more ships and a hull that can take top AND bottom mounted turrets. Would happily pay for an IAP expansion that provides.
Love the game overall, seriously, but my strongest suggestion would be to decrease the production times on the missiles. Or at least, give some context-based replenishments at certain bases when missions are given out. It's really irritating to be told, "hey, we're sending you on this super-duper dangerous mission, there's going to be a ton of opposition!"... then you find that everything's out of stock... that would make sense, when you're docked at non-military bases like mining stations or New Vegas or something, but at the military strongholds of any of the major factions, I'd expect them to have a practically unlimited store. I dunno. It's a minor quibble, and I get you don't want players overwhelming the gameplay balance by loading up on missiles. At the same time, though, I've been playing for a while, I've built up plenty of cash, I've got a ship that can handle the weight, if I want to have 10-15 missiles when I go into a battle, I shouldn't have to go hunting from system to system trying to find them
Same here. Nothing I can do. There seems to be another friendly ship that is slow to making its way to the other disabled vessel, but the time runs out way before it has a chance to get there. I'm not sure if there are supposed to be some enemies spawning or what. Sucks to not be able to move forward with the story.
I haven't had time to read through all the remarks yet, but yaw and roll (especially as a 3D Touch feature) would bring me back to this. I'm super bored with the lack of immersion flying a spaceship on a fixed plane. I have played iOS games with good implementation of yaw and roll so it can be done. Also I second the requests for more ships and for new hulls permitting top/bottom mountable turrets! Otherwise a beautiful and fun space game!
Hey I was wondering if you tried the new added Roll/Pitch flight mode? Interesting idea to use the 3DTouch for roll, how would you see it implemented? Cheers!
The last update (that just went live) is 100% Community requests! - Low/High price tracking for seen items - Improved base off screen indicator on HUD - Double tap brake for full stop - Tap speed indicator to match speed with target - Faster rocket buildup on military/high tech bases - Several few other small fixes Enjoy!
Great update!!! My only concern is about full stop feature: could it be more gradual, I mean not a sudden stop, but a gradual one. Anyway great update!!!!
Lovely update! Sadly, my most wanted feature is still not present, the ability to yaw AND roll. Maybe at least to people who uses gyro aiming? That way I could yaw with the gyro and roll with the virtual stick.
