The improved navigation arrows for the planet exploration portion of the game are really nice and the delivery missions have changed for the better and are more realistic in my opinion. Lots of nice improvements with this update.

    Bug:
On the iPad the SYST --> NAV --> LOCAL screen text is scrunched together. It's been this way since I have played the game but I'm guessing most people who are using a iPad, including myself, very rarely have checked out the screen since it seems mostly there to add a tiny amount of detail but it's worth bringing up the bug.

    Suggestion:
I would love to see a tilt device to roll option for supported devices when docking into a space station.

Yup, agree with all of this. As JasonLL says the text in the Local screen is scrunched, vertical spacing is such that there is overlap from line to line. I never really noticed it either until now. I rarely use that screen.

Also there is an new issue with the Legendary screen. The new entry visible when all 11 legendary systems are discovered is messed up. The description overlaps and covers the coordinate information. The first portion is not visible. It looks like the coordinate information needs to be tabbed over more to the right.

    I'm running on iPad Air.

Another question, is there any particular reason you did not implement left, right and rear views while on a planet? No big deal really, just curious.

Thanks for your report, i just fixed the bugs!
Right and rear views while on planet may be possible, but they would require a delay to be displayed (similar to the delay required to turn or progress).

I'm on an iPhone SE and I see the text overlapped in the mission screen, when I complete the mission and the "completed" text appears on top of the planet level and the known/unknown text.

Other than that, which is a minor bug, the game feels amazing. I'm still struggling to find the last coordinate of the legendary system I'm missing.

Meanwhile, I'm going back to Inana, the legendary system where I built the base, to gather the benefits. Let's see how much it made. The funny part is I was at 5k LY from the system because I travelled through a wormhole, and I found LVL27-28 systems there. Now I've found the wormhole again (or a similar one) and I've gone back through it, to find myself only at 350LY from the system. Inana is a good system to build a base, and since it's legendary, the coordinates are always handy :)

    Minor bug fixed.
About the base building system : i wonder if i should propose the possibility to buy building blocks directly (if player doesn't have the required resources). Base building would be more convenient. Any thought?

In my opinion, building blocks should be available in the space station. As it is now, I have to check resources needed in the planet, go back to space to check if the base has the resources (which I have to memorize), buy them (if available) and back to planet.

I think it would be easier if we could buy blocks directly from the space stations if we have the resources in stock. If we don't have them, the color code is OK with me (red=unavailable; blue=available). I like that the base blocks use resources to be built. If not, it would be too easy.

One thing you might want to think about adding is the possibility of remotely gathering base resources. This could be at a cost, of course, like getting just a 50% or something like that, but having to travel 5000LY just to collect the base income is kind of anti-space exploration. Inana seems to be near several black holes, but you have to take a screenshot of the destination coordinates so that you can return to them later to go back to the original access point when you want to return.

VBF, Do you have any coordinates for the level 27-28 systems? I haven't found anything higher than 23-24 in quite a while...

I suppose I could start to do some missions and build a base soon. Right now I'm still buying up stations whenever I see a decent moneymaker. I need to find some higher level systems, at least level 25 and up...

This is the access point of the wormhole near Inana. If you enter the wormhole, your destination is where I found the level 27-28 space stations. I hope this helps. I also took a screenshot of the other side of the wormhole coordinates, but it was weeks ago and my camera roll is a mess, full of screenshots of coordinates. I can mail you the screenshots if you want to try them, but the one I know for sure where it takes you is the one attached.

Thanks, I'll check it out. No need to dig up the old screenshots.

I just entered your coordinates. I'm close by, only 750 LY away.

    Thanks for your advice.
I should add in the logbook lines that indicate when you have used a wormhole, with its coordinates (start and destination).

Cool! That's not much distance. Let me know how it goes. I was able to buy one 27-28 level base, but it cost me 90 million credits, so I ran out of cash :p Now I make 2 million daily though, so I'll go back there when I finish collecting cash from Inana, to try and increase my income.

I went through the wormhole and landed right in the middle of a ton of level 28 systems. No stations for sale yet though. I think I'll hang around.

I'm making 10 million daily right now. I have 62 stations , average daily income per station is about $163,000. These stations around here will help get the average way up once I buy a few.

I also found what looks like a base on one of the planets. It is at 760, -2376, -2849. No idea what that's about, I've landed on a ton of planets since the base update and this is the first base I've found. It does not get marked on the radar. I just happened to see some stacked cubes in the distance and I went to check it out.

Those are ruins of different bases. They are scattered around planets. I've seen several of them. They are just for decorative purposes (at least at the moment).

Where you've landed I've seen at least two bases on sale. I was able to buy one, but not the other because of lack of funds. That's why I want to go back when I get more funds.

Here are the coordinates of 4 stations for sale on the first visit to the system, I bought them all.

    Stations bought
    #63 Ontiinus(27). 741, -2395, -2857
    #64 Wedarifi(27). 738, -2389, -2850
    #65 Zagiusye(28). 721, -2385, -2872
    #66 Tinatada(28). 721, -2371, -2871

I will be returning to the other systems in the area to see if any unavailable stations change status to for sale in a few days.

    Mapping a sector

So my current project is mapping the sector of level 27 and 28 systems I'm in at the moment. I have the basics with the systems colored by tech level. I also want to indicate whether monoliths are present and if the station is available for purchase.

I'll try to upload the map as it is now here. Last time I tried this on iOS I could not upload. If I can't upload I'll send the initial map to marsaults via pm.

    Anyway here goes!

Cool it worked! As you can see the two colors represent tech levels 27 and 28. The gray point is the wormhole I arrived in.

Apparently I cannot upload screenshots taken from my iPad. I can however upload a .png file from somewhere else.

Anyway, like I said this is a work in progress. I'll continue mapping systems and eventually I'll clean it up more and send it out again.

I like the whole "make your own mission" possibilities here.

Wow, very cool indeed! What program are you using to make that map? It looks incredible.

I'm loading the system name, X Y Z coordinates, monolith or not, and station purchase in separate columns into excel. Then I load that file into a visualization/data analysis program called spotfire. I want to connect the systems with a line in the order I visited them also, but I don't know how to do that yet, or even if I can. Screen captures don't do it justice. You can rotate the picture, zoom In and out and other stuff I don't know about yet. You could conceivably load a crapload of systems in here and display them all. I've worked with at least 100,000 data points in the software before.

My goal is to be able to display certain sectors with the systems color coded by tech level and indicate if a monolith is present, and purchasable stations all on a picture. Currently I'm working on this sector you see in the picture I posted earlier.

So if anyone is making a list I would sure like to see it. :D

    My format is:

    System name. X. Y. Z. Tech level. Station purchase(Y/N). Monolith(Y/N).

Man, I sure like this. I'll try to contribute to the universe mapping. This is surely going up another level in this game :)
