Unfortunately you have to fix a bug first: savegame doesn't save the amount of missiles you have. I've just returned to play and sadly discovered I had lost my 25 missiles, and they were of the most expensive ones
Almost back to start I like the missiles, they seem to track the enemies really well. Just don't fire your lasers right after you launch a missile! If you hit one it's boom! I like launching about 5 missiles very quickly and then timing my laser shots to get to the enemies around the same time the missiles do. The resulting fireworks are nice. I don't even care that the missiles I have used so far are pretty weak. I just like all the explosions going off at once! So I'm real close to my starting system. My second start of the game was the default starting system. I do not remember the coordinates or the name but it is more or less at. 275, -345, 1025. Can anyone give the the name and actual coordinates of the starter system. I would restart but would lose my save I have going. I don't want to do that.
I think I landed on the start system The start system might be IPDEZEVE. 284, -348, 1018 Or one of the other systems nearby. Maybe REFERE or VEVEFCE
The coordinates of the start system (Zaerhea) are: (258;-347;1030) By the way you should consider doing a back up of your savegame through itunes, just in case.
Thanks! I was just a short jump away, just landed. Now on to wormholes and actually doing some missions!
Hi tintin! currently, i'm trying to implement the possibility to buy/build outpost on a planet. I'm improving monolith 3D models too. Not sure what will be included in the next release!
What's the objective/benefit of the outposts? Maybe they could have teleports and you could move around from one to another in a matter of seconds... I'd place one on each legendary system just for fun
I'm not sure what the objective would be. It may allow to store cargo, or to earn money (maybe robots could automatically travel the planet, extract resources and get them back to the outpost...) Teleports may be an idea, but i don't know exactly how it would work (ship would be teleported too?). Next release is almost ready, outposts are not included yet.
The easiest implementation IMO is to earn money. They could be as when you buy a space station, adding to the total earnings. I guess that's the fastest way to implement outposts. Something which you could also add is something for the aliens you encounter. When I find them, they're very alone. Maybe they could be next to a spaceship, a hut or something that complements their presence. I know it might sound silly, but finding them always in the middle of nowhere brings me the thought of "look, another stranded alien". Btw, do they give missions or something? I'm beginning to have enough vocabulary to read full sentences from them, but all of them seem informative only.
Possible bug? Hi all. Really enjoying the game. I'm only a few hours in and I'm amazed at what's been achieved in the programming of this universe. Big fan of Elite Dangerous so was really happy to find this for my phone. Big respect to the developer. However, I'm having a few small problems at the minute that I hope you can help me with. Since yesterday I'm getting some errors with the mission payouts and when I try to sell my ship. Some of the missions on the board had payouts of billions and when I try to sell my current ship I get a fine of -2456789432. I also can't land on planets anymore. I get the landing animation with the ship dropping but it just hangs with the circle in the middle of the screen, but no 'skip' inside the circle to land. Anybody else had this happen? I've restarted the game a few times (not a new game) but it's still the same. I don't mind starting a new game if it will fix it. Cheers
I haven't had this happen to me, but I haven't played the game after updating to iOS 10.2, so I can't say if the new iOS makes this happen or not...
Thanks for the replies. I was on iOS 9.3.5 for a while (iPhone 5) and it played fine. The bug happened whilst still using 9.3.5, so I don't think an update caused it. I updated to 10.2 today and I still get the ship selling bug, but I can now land on planets. I've never tried to sell a ship until now so maybe the bug was always there for me. But I noticed the mission board first yesterday with huge payouts where previously it was fine. I accepted one of the huge payout missions to test, and it wouldn't let me land on a planet to do the delivery/scanning, so possibly a connection there. I'm going to start a fresh game now that I've updated iOS and see how it goes. I'm only a few hours in so it's no problem. I'll let you know how it goes. Cheers
I started a new game and went straight into the marketplace to sell my ship after I docked, and the same thing happened. -235674798 after the 'fine' text. The 'buy' button is greyed out after I sell too, so it's not like I can spend all that juicy cash I deleted the app and re-installed but still the same issue. Took a screenshot but can't attach it. It will let me upload it, but having problems attaching it. Cheers
How much is your cash immediately after you sell your ship? Are there other inconsistant values in the computer section? I started a new game, directly sold my ship, but didn't manage to trigger this bug.
In the new game I started after selling I had 9475. It looks normal apart from big - number If you have an email I could send screenshot
