I love the wormholes!! Great animation!! I did a kill imperials mission and they still attack me. It's starting to get annoying for I'm attacked almost every planet I travel to.
My suggestion for this "being pursued" issue is: - Successfully finish 1 mission "kill imperials" resets the pursue status of rebels (i.e.: rebels stop pursuing you). - Successfully finish 1 mission "kill rebels" resets the pursue status of imperials (i.e.: imperials stop pursuing you). - Chaining of successfully completed missions for one faction gets the other faction against you (i.e.: if you complete 5 "kill rebels" missions in a row, the rebels will be angry at you and attack you on first sight). - Destroying merchant ships gets both imperials and rebels against you. This also applies for the civil ships. Outlaws in my opinion should stay the same: they tend to attack you, but not always, just based on a random basis. Maybe their attack rate can be dependent on your piracy status: the more merchant and civil ships you attack, the less outlaws attack you. I think I didn't forget anyone there...
#I have a huge fine! Like giant. I don't have enough money to pay 1/16 of it. I agree with VBF that kill rebels will help imperial status. Yet, I have done both kill rebels and imperials missions and it hasn't done anything. I play honestly to explore, and constantly fighting on every planet can get quite tedious.
Fine should become 0 when finishing a "kill imperials" mission. I think your fine is so huge that it's bugged.
Yeah, the wormholes are great. The second one I went through put me out on the edge of the Galaxy. I'm almost off the edge of the galaxy map. I take it distance traveled and direction are random? What would happen if you go through the same wormhole again, would it put you in the same place as the first time through? That might be a cool experiment to try. Next time I may lock the coordinates of the wormhole before I go through it... It would be really cool to see light years traveled come up when you come out of the wormhole.
Are you sure you completed a rebel or imperial mission? (did you see the message "contract completed. you are paid with x U"?) You fine should be reset. Do you continue the game after being killed, or do you quit and launch the game again to load the last saved game? Maybe i should reset the fine after the player's death.
Is there a tutorial? I just got the game and it asked me to autodock to a space station, which I promptly crashed into. Is there some kind of tutorial, or some web page that describes the interface?
Autodock costs 2,500 credits. Click the button before crashing into the station. Manual dock is basically get in line with the entrance and match your rotation to the one of the space station. If the light of the hud is green you're correctly aligned. If it's red no.
Autodock costs less if you have a lowcost ship model. I think it costs only 25 U with the first ship.
Yes, a given wormhole always drives you to the same point of the galaxy! I plan to implement wormholes that are bidirectional (so you can take it again to go back to your previous position).
Every time I die I quit and start from last save. Yes I'm sure I completed both a kill rebels and kill imperials mission. It said completed and I got rewarded. Still ginormous fine and imperials still chasing me.
Thanks to you! I don't understand your "big fine" issue for the moment... What is the exact value? I think i will limit the maximum fine value to the current player's ship value. Maybe you will be able to pay it!
