I didn't know this travel distance bug on 4S. Yes, it has to do with the fuel consumption speed that relies on the device speed. Could be fixed. I'm glad you can enjoy Stellar Horizon fully now!
#same. I could always go way farther on my iPod but now I can't go past my limit. I'm so bad at this game. I've been playing for this long and only have 10 ly ship. I always get killed and have to start all over. #
Yeah, space battles are amazing and difficult now! I got killed several times already, and they're incredibly enjoyable now Well, I noticed it long ago, but I thought "if it's a bug, Sylvain will fix it for sure and I won't be able to travel as fast. Better say nothing..." +1 to getting a clean status for X in the "kill X" missions. I also support a shield regen after some time without being hit in battle (3 seconds after the last hit, shields begin to regenerate, for example).
Bug? Hello, I noticed something interesting today while playing. Deleted because of incorrect information......
Nope, not quite correct. There can be Avery long delay until the proper tech level is displayed though. I'm also starting to get crashes back to the desktop when hitting the skip landing sequence button. That never happened prior to the last update.
Mine works great with the last update, and I skip quite a lot of landing sequences. iPhone SE with iOS 9.3.3 here, just in case it's a specific iOS/device version issue.
Wild guess: one thing you added to the game in the last update was the dust effect when landing. Maybe it has to do with the effect loading onto memory and not being well loaded if the skip button is hit on a slow device... Just guessing here. On my 4S it doesn't happen, mainly because the skip button appears very late in the landing process (just force-tested it several times now).
Good analysis, i think the dust effect is the cause. The skip button appears before the effect is ready, so i guess it may crash if one taps the button too soon. Though, it never happens on my 5S. An update will be submitted today, it will include a fix (among other things!).
The first versions of the game performed similar on the iPhone 4S and on the iPad 3. As updates went live, performance on my 4S was better than on my iPad 3. Maybe on the iPad it makes more calculations due to screen size.
It also looks like the crashing thing has been fixed. Before It seemed to crash most often if I hit the skip button as soon as it came up. Waiting a second or two mad e the crashes much rarer. So far no crashes at all, I'll try to abuse it a bit to see what happens Hey VBF. Galaxy sector -62, -66.9. There are a lot of tech level 22 to tech level 26 systems. I bought 6 more stations in the past hour or so of playtime in this area. I now have 36 and am making almost half a million credits a day. Stations are expensive though, depending on tech level they can be over $50 million each...
No prob! I'm not sure how galaxy sectors correspond to system coordinates but you might want to start around -1990, -2060, 350 as far as system coordinates go...
One galaxy sector is a 32 L.Y cube. So you divide system coordinates by 32 to obtain the galaxy sector coordinates (roughly).
