That sounds very cool. I also love the effect of getting in and out of water that you've added recently.

Another update has just hit. It's impressive how something simple as the dust effect when landing changes the appearance of the game. Thanks Sylvain!

I agree totally! That with the water droplets, the cockpit motion in space and on the planets makes a huge difference in play IMO.

Right now I'm at a dry spell, I can't find any good stations to buy. I'm making about $3 million credits a day, with $261 million in the bank and have about $0.5 Billion total station earnings with 27 or so owned stations. I need to find some more stations for sale on tech level 25 or higher systems.

I have two things to put on the wishlist. Not sure how doable they are.

1.) How about a Super Cargo Ship that holds about 2000 tons? Make it with the same range and weapon as the BIg Bang Explorer. Maybe a slightly longer range like 150LY.

2.). You already have a journal detailing what planets you visited. Do you store those coordinates? A toggle button where you could briefly highlight the systems visited on the two galaxy map views would be cool. Default should be highlight off I would imagine. I'm sure highlighting them would make the map pretty slow in coming up...

110 hours spent flying/trading/exploring and counting! I need to start some missions some day.

    Hi Drh!

    1) 2000 tons??? I would have never thought somebody may need so much space! Anyway, I will think about it.

    2) yes, coordinates are stored, so displaying them on the galaxy map is possible... It even sounds like a nice idea! Todo list, definitively.

I'm glad Stellar Horizon has entertained you for more than 100 hours! I will continue to add content to the game, and maybe you will be able to reach 200 hours, who knows?

Thanks Virtual! It is very true that details may have a great value. At this time i'm focusing on weather effects (wind, with snow or sand effect if possible). If i find them cool enough, i will include them in the next release.

Well, 2000 tons MAY be a bit excessive...

I do fill the explorer up quite frequently. Maybe 1000 tons would work...

This game is my night time relax game for when I just want to chill. So yeah, I can see myself coming back to this game a lot

I'm (finally!) buying an iPhone SE later today. I'm really dying to see how good Stellar Horizon is compared to playing on my old 4S. :p

It should be a night and day improvement when exploring planets. Planet surface details and surface definition are the two key settings you will want to turn up. On my Air 1 I have planet surface details set to high and surface definition set to normal. Some planets will look amazing with higher settings. You will definitely enjoy the improvements.

Also I have a question for Marsault or anyone else that could answer. What does the interpolation setting do? I usually keep it on high since I don't notice a performance drop but just curious how it works in game.

Wow, I relly do. I'm still configuring the phone, but I had to try it. It's really AMAZING. And the graphic flow is incredible. If you think the game is slow on your 5S or similar, you should try playing on a 4S to know what's slow. With my new SE moving on planets seems nearly realtime movement. Impressed, extremely impressed!

Interpolation set to off is useful only for slow devices, it reduces the quality of graphics in space (planets or explosions may seem more "blocky"). By the way, the difference isn't dramatic.

Really cool! I guess you will be able to set all future effects to "on" in the settings...

I am late to the party with this one, and
This game confuses me. It appears there is no saving. So each new game is starting from scratch. How do you accumulate money and so forth if you can't save? Also, since the first planet landing which is pretty much auto, I have not figured out how to reach or land on anything else

When you take off from planets the game saves. In your gaming sessions you need to find moments to land on planets and then take off ;)

    Hi Repulsa, and welcome!
Have you managed to reach other systems?
If not, here is the procedure:
target a not too far star (less than 8 light years distant, such stars are highlighted in yellow in your radar), once this star is in the center of the screen (in the little circle), tap the up arrow a first time to change speed from N ("nominal") to S ("super"), then tap again to reach H speed ("hyper jump"). Auto-cruise should drive you to the star then let you in nominal speed again, not far from from a dock. Aim at it and tap the up arrow to reach "S" speed. Auto-cruise should drive you to the dock then let you in nominal speed. Aim at the dock and tap "dock" to enter the dock. Tap "Launch" to undock, then aim at "gateway" square, then tap "skip" to proceed with the landing sequence. Hope it will help!

Hopefully. Nonetheless if I put all settings to high, it goes a bit slow. Choosing auto detect is just perfect.

Indeed, the "planet surface details" can be set to "high" or "ultra", but it is more for testing (as it is really slower) or if you want to make an optimal snapshot. Autodetect never puts "high" or "ultra" for this setting.

I am having a lot of issues. First things first, I cannot get imperials to stop chasing me. I have done missions to kill rebels and they still want to kill me. Every other planet, I am greatly outnumbered by imperials and immediately killed. Another issue I have is when I am going on a "kill rebels mission", I am stopped multiple times by red ships (I think outlaws), so I get killed before I even reach the planet where I do the mission. Lastly, I spent a lot of money on a good weapon. I finally got enough money to buy a better ship. However the ship has a worse weapon then I had bought.
Suggestions: Make it not mandatory to fight when attacked
If you have a better weapon then what comes with your ship, then you should be able to keep your weapon

    Thanks!

I'm impressed with the game on the SE. It's smooth as silk. Also, on the 4S fuel allowed me to travel 325LY. Now I can only travel the expected 124LY maximum. I guess it has to do with the game being designed for faster devices. It's obvious the 4S couldn't cope with all the processing needed.

    Hi Tintin!
Actually, "kill imperials" missions may allow to clean your status (i.e after succeeded, you won't be chased anymore by imperials). But maybe i should do the same for "kill rebels". Concerning the weapon issue, you are true, i will fix it in the next release.
