I don't know how faster it will run on iPhoneSE! In fact, i have an iPhone 5S only, so i try to be sure that each new implementation runs on it. Maybe i may add a lot more graphical elements on newer devices, but i won't do it without tests! You can address me by : Marsault (my last name), Sylvain (my first name), or MarsaultS (my pseudo). What was your current device?
Please let us know how it performs. If I buy a new device, I'm very interested in an SE, and one of the main reasons to buy another iPhone is this game
I was going to the one you gave me first a few pages back. I'm 2,500LY away from them now, but I'll visit them for sure after I get to the first one
Cool, how close are you to the first one I sent you? Right now I'm in the process of visiting the legendary systems. I have all coordinates except for one. Whenever I stop in a system of tech level 22 or higher I visit all the neighboring systems in the hopes of finding another station to purchase.
Still too far, at around 2k LY... But getting there while I do missions. I was in the zone of the new coordinates you've posted before. I guess I'll have to go back there
Great! My current device is unfortunately and iPod 5G. I have played the game on a 6 and it runs so much faster. But then again, thanks to your updates STellar Horizons speed on my device has been greatly improved!
Right now I'm at about at 100 hours. I own 26 stations and earn about $2.7 million a day. Total station earnings are around $300 million. I spent most of that on more stations. The stations I buy tend to make over $200 thousand a day and cost at least $35 million each, the money goes fast. I haven't really done many missions yet, just concentrating on building my station empire and visiting the legendary systems. This is the perfect chill in front of the TV game or put on some music and just warp around. Lunch break at work is also warp time... Basically if I'm playing a game, right now it is either this, no mans sky or kerbal space program.
Kerbal space program? Funny. Its soundtracks are royalty free (under creative commons license) , i use them now in Stellar Horizon. I found they correspond marvelously to the game. I hope you won't be disappointed, as you already know these soundtracks. Anyway, you can disable them!
Update is live. Played for 10 minutes and it feels so much better with music. It's amazing, and the game size is still kept very reasonable. I love the new scan effect on planets.
I agree VirtualBoyFreak the scan effect is great. Also , maybe it's just me, but the planetary exploration feels a bit snappier even in areas of high vegetation and for the first time I was finding ores all over the place on this one planet after beginning a new game in a random system instead of just around the starting vicinity but maybe I lucked out since the next planet I went to I couldn't find any ores but I did collect one of my water samples. The new music is very nice and soothing. I also like that the game still has moments of silence between the music.
Yup, the music definitely fits very well. I would like to see an option to shut the sound effects off also if possible. Or maybe a separate volume control for sound effects and another volume control for the music. Planetary exploration is definitely snappier, especially scanning/extracting I think. Maybe I'll buy another station or two today.
Update is awesome!! I have already come across life and trees! The soundtrack it great too!!! Omg he game feels so much better. I wish I can upload pictures but I can't seem to on my i touch
I don't know because SW doesn't work on iOS 7, but I can say that this is my No Man's Sky for iOS, FWIW
The sad thing is that there is actually more to do here than in No Man's Sky... Having played LOTS of KSP, I'm feeling right at home with the music.
