    Update v1.0.15 is live!

^: The lag is reduced by over 90% now on iPad Air 2 now!! Older less powerful devices should also experience a substantial reduction in lag as well! Thank you, marsaults!! :D

-We now have asteroids that appear in space and near stations/planets/stars!
-I've become a bad guy and pirated lots of loot (commodities) from civilian ships...now I got a big fine to pay.
-The "WARNING!" announcements now work everywhere, but sometimes I receive a double "WARNING!" announcement.
-The iPad button layout interface looks better (more clean) now that buttons are not cutoff the screen as well as the improved placing of the spectrometer.

SIDE NOTE: Sometimes you might loot a ship, but the container might be empty, hehe, very interesting but absolutely fine of course. Also, my last space battle was pretty crazy! I arrived at a station, and then my radar picked up around 10 or more ships (a mix of Imperials and Pirates)....that battle was pretty intense, but I took them all out thanks to my CONSTRICTOR ship (my shields absorbed every shot without any loss of power). Any Tiger series ship would have been obliterated in seconds, lol.

Stellar Horizon is becoming even more stellar with every update!! We thank you very much for your hard work, marsaults! ^_^

I found this gorgeous planet today.

Mine is still laggy. When I press the go foreword button when exploring planets, there is a very long pause before I move. I press it and the white box flashes....wait...then I finally move. Though it is slightly better than before.

Those are some really cool ideas, but first, the game must be calibrated properly to be able to handle these extra conditions without lag across multiple iOS devices. Once that's done, the great marsaults could start looking deeper into our suggestions making the game even better!

Hey tintin888, ion iPad Air 2, it takes approximately 2.0~2.2 seconds to move one space while on planets. How long does it take on your iOS device? I think marsaults is working on making planetary exploration faster.

    Hi tintin and senkoujin!

indeed, next update may improve things, and will allow user to reduce render quality if necessary.
Furthermore, travels on planet will beneficy from a fast travel mode that will allow to make larger moves.

    Must be submitted very soon!

I included something like that in the last update (a line and a square dot for each ship model), what did you think about it?

Lag comparison between my iPod 5 and my sisters iPod 6:

(iPod 5) once out of light speed, time it took to reach the station of the planet: 43 seconds

(iPod 6) once out of light speed, time it took to reach the station of the planet: 10 seconds

(iPod 5) Time it took to move foreword after I pressed the "move foreword button" while on a planet: 3.12 seconds.

(iPod 6) Time it took to move foreword after I pressed the "move foreword button" while on a planet: 1.1 seconds

(iPod 5) Time it took to reach a planet 12.87 LY away: 1.46 minutes

(iPod 6) Time it took to reach a planet 12.37 LY away: 39 seconds.

The same ship was used and the distances were as close as I could make them. As you can see, it runs tremendously better on the iPod 6 than in the iPod 5.

Ehm it is not what I meant: I tought about a polygon on the surface of the 3d model coloured blue as to simulate the glass of a cockpit. Visible also in digfighting sessions...

Thanks for these data. These space travel delays on slower devices may dramatically improve in the incoming update!

Ok, sorry , it was a misunderstanding. You just want visible cockpits. I'll see if it can be done nicely.

    Another bug?

    Hello,

6 hours of playtime, pretty serious ship and weaponry in my possession, 58 planets discovered, and almost half a million in the bank.

Find those planets with goods listed in red for max profit!

    Loving it.

Is the techno level listed on the system screen supposed to match what is in the brackets in the nav screen? I just noticed it does not in the system I am in.

Are you planning to add 'full' exploration of planets(not jus static). That would be beyond stupendous.

I'm glad you enjoyed your exploration. Indeed, the techno level is not related to the number in the brackets. Techno level is not used for the moment.
Half a million in the bank?? I didn't imagine it was possible to earn that in only 6 hours!

For the moment, it is not planned. It would be a heavy rework. But who knows?

I think one of your request will be considered soon: black holes (maybe to travel from one point of the galaxy to another).

Thanks tintin! The new update has just been submitted. It should be available in 2 or 3 days (based on the previous delays).

About the half million in the bank...

So, I work with green, yellow ,red goods only if I can help it. Get a bigger ship as fast as you can. If the high price minerals have really good export prices buy them if you can afford it. The expensive stuff can give you quite a bit of profit. if you visit a station with goods that are marked in red in The import column, buy that product out in all of the nearby systems provided it is not listed in blue or above in the export column of the selling system.

Also , land and extract the resources from the planet in every system you visit.
