Someone on TA sure thought what Pete did was special considering the number of times links from his website were copy/pasted on here. Personally I am grateful to anyone on TA who takes the time to contribute to the site, whether it be posting game threads, game of the week, gameplay videos, or whatever. I'm not sure why Pete continues to think that anyone was copying links from his site. What on earth would be the point of that? We all have access to iTunes, Appshopper, and a number of other resources which we cull our new games list from. And we've been doing it for YEARS well before Pete was ever on the scene. I guess he just wanted to make up some dumb shit he could say to make him seem like the victim after all the crap he pulled here?
The hilarious part about the PeteOzzy plagiarism conspiracy theories is this weird assumption that he has some kind of exclusive on looking at the iTunes new games lists. It isn't rocket science, there's a million different methods to do it, and it shouldn't be much of a surprise that we catch all the same games as everyone shares a pretty universal "Is this some terrible casino game or other crapware?" filter. But, since he had the time zone advantage being in NZ, everyone apparently needs to source him as the Lord and Commander of all iTunes links. This is why how dramatic he was about his contributions here was so hilarious, as he acted like he had some kind of insider information when all this is totally public for anyone to do who takes the time to set up and quickly skim through the various feeds.
Wow, I had no idea about this whole thing. I just noticed that he just kind of dropped of the face of the earth. On a side note, how do you choose new mods? What are the required qualifications? (Just curious)
