The one post that doesn't frustrate the crap outta me. As long as no one bids on it, I should be getting The Orange Box off eBay for $10 *prays*
Do these all run on a MacBook? EDIT: Seem like Plants Vs. Zombies, which I want, doesn't. Grr. I'll probably pay the extra $10+ for the Mac version.
no these are games are all designed for windows, so they won't run on a mac unless you install Windows through a separate partition (which only works on the newer ones with intel processors)
steam is alright by me, always a deal to be had somewhere! nabbed in the current sales: L4D 2 (gift from a friend woo!) Torchlight Ghostbusters Outrun Coast 2 Coast
Overlord looks tempting but decided against it because I just got another boatload of games. Ghostbusters for 7 dollars yesterday (awesome game!) and today I got trine for 5 bucks along with the whole command and conquer 3/3 red alert along with the expansions for 33 dollars. The main series in each game cost about 10.19 and the xp packs for each was about 6.79. I normally wouldn't have spent that much but then I remembered that I bought and returned command and conquer 3 when it first came out which cost about 35 on sale. I can't wait for the Steam deals to end because I'm spending money on full blown PC games like I do on apps!
The Steam sale is about to end any minute now and just bought it based off the video trailers on the official site. I'll post impressions later.
Killing Floor is basically a First Person Shooter co-op "survive the wave" from an onslaught of foes type of game. Select a special perk, survive the wave, earn money and upgrade and buy guns, repeat. It was definitely worth the 5 dollars I paid for it (since I buy smaller scale iphone apps at a similar price) but probably not worth the regular price 20 dollars for me, at least yet. I haven't tried playing with other people yet and it could be a really addictive game if I get sucked into it. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
