I picked up fallout 3:GOTY edition, Assassin's creed and alpha prime for $48. Would've got GTA but I doubt it would run well on my macbook.
I have a important question (by the way, i bought Left 4 Dead 2 and GTA IV), for GTA IV, i can't activate it.. I double checked what i wrote and the code doesn't seem to work.
This is insane... thanks for the heads up. Just got Mirror's Edge, Braid, and GTA IV all for 15 dollars Mirrors Edge just went back up to 20 dollars... I guess i got lucky So did GTA IV- 30 dollars now
Yeah GTA4 and Mirror's Edge were only 1 day sales. The sales today aren't great, L4D2 for $33.50 but that's about it. Everyone should pick up the Shadowgrounds pack for $4 bucks, awesome top down shooters. The Unreal pack is also a freaking insane deal, you get Unreal Tournament, Unreal 2, Unreal Tournament 2004, and Unreal Tournament 3 for $13.50, it's a steal.
By the way, today torchlight is $4.99! There is no excuse for not buying it, as it is brand new and high-quality- it was well worth it at it's original price!
I must have spent over a hundred dollars on Steam only because most of them are fantastic deals that come with a whole pack of games worth 40 dollars and up combined! I got lumines for a few bucks today and it's a pretty decent game (but nothing compared to the psp version). And yeah, torchlight is a pretty awesome game because it's from the makers of diablo and lesser known (but still awesome) windows game called fate
DO NOT BUY SHAUN WHITE SNOWBOARDING!!!! I bought it cuz I love snowboarding and was hoping for a somewhat decent, realistic snowboarding game, but it doesn't even work. And it's an incredibly poorly done port, if it were to work. I'm trying to get a refund through Steam for it. It's had the same problems for over a year, don't think it'll ever be fixed.
annnd just bought Torchlight. Loved the demo but was going to wait for Diablo 3. But I can't pass up on a 15+ hour high quality game for 5 bucks!!
I got L4D2 during the sale. Does anyone know if the top sellers is measured by the amount of sales or the top grossing? Even with all these sales, MW2 is still at the top ten at $60
You'd have to be some kind of millionaire to buy a video game for $60. edit: Torchlight for $5? Let me in on this.
Got torchlight but it reminded me too much of dungeon runners, I'll give it a fair chance someday, but trying sacred 2 for now.
