My Steam is acting damn weird, it's giving me this error saying "Steam is already running, you can only run one copy at a time" I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it, still didn't help. Deleted all old files before reinstalling too, again still didn't help. Anybody here know what I can do?

Did you try to use task manager?(if your on windows) Ctrl+alt+delete hit run task manager and you can see if you can end it or restart your computer

I've ran into this many many times, easy fix.

    1. go to Task manager (Ctrl + Alt + Del)
    2. click the tab Processes and scroll down to Steam.exe (should say that on the Image Name)
    3. Once you've found that, click on it and End Process, and End Process again
    4. Start up Steam and you're good to go!

    Hope this helps :D

It should work, what do you mean by the process never ending? When a program is on the process tab, it means it's running on the computer

Otherwise I really don't know how to fix the problem, other than suggesting Google for help
