Screw Portal, Torchlight is hella fun! Ok, Portal is still a lot of fun, but after playing Torch, Portal may be neglected for a little while
now and yet it moves demo works! probably because the client downloaded an update. really nice game, maybe a little repetitive.
why is it that every time I launch Steam it starts downloading a 33mb update? I get a little box that says "Updating Steam..." every time and it keeps downloading every time
I have a quick question. If I downloaded Portal on my windows pc now, would I get to download it for free on a mac in the future?
When I did challenge mode all the portals turned black ( I can't see through them.) I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, but now it's in the main game as well, anyone know how to turn it off?
Yeah... Mac gaming does not seem to be my thing... nor is gaming the thing for my Mac. I think I'll stick to my 360 for stuff like Portal, but'll still use Steam for the smaller indie stuff. This game was 3 gigs and ran ok on my MBP which I got last year. I'd hate to see what would happen if I brought GTA IV upon this thing.
When I first started playing I could see through the portals, then I went to options and changed "Portal Depth" from 2 to 9, I hadn't known what it did. they turned black when I changed to 9, tried changing the setting back to 2 but it still remains black
Same here! I did hear something before Steam came out that they were going to change it or something. Something about Steve Jobs was going to voice in the game, and talk about how the portals make enterances, and not exits. Which is STILL confusing me. I beat the game on my PC, showed it to my uncle (which at the time, Steam wasnt out for Mac) and he loved it. Now he can play it for FREE!
About the changes, is it just me, or in the original Orange Box version of the game, a fast-paced version of Still Alive wasn't playing at the very beginning of the game?
