Please report back on the findings -- this one is on my radar! (Developer should always mark the support down at the apps description, it helps!)
Done... For now. I'll pick up the community content levels once that gets sorted out. I'm not sure what the hardest level in the game is, 8-7 has to be a contender. At the very end it teases for a part 2... Any plans for that yet?
Apple at one point didn't approve apps that mentioned the iCade in the description. I think they still might.
Hey all, I'm waiting for Apple to get back to me about an IAP detail, but otherwise I've got a new 1.0.1 version ready to upload ASAP. Here are the updates: - Finally enabled the In-App Purchase for the Community Levels. - Fix for users with non-alphanumeric GameCenter names. - Added image to illustrate how the controls are intended to be used for those that have misunderstood. - Added virtual left/right buttons for those who prefer it. The Community Levels are working now, so hopefully soon you'll all be able to play them. Chinese people will hopefully hate me less, since the game should no longer crash on launch for anyone with funky GameCenter names. I spotted a review where someone misconstrued the controls, thinking you had to drag the character. Hopefully the splash screen will help with that type of thing. And (despite hating them myself) I've added the virtual buttons as an alternative. I'll let you know how it goes. Bidds
I agree with you on the virtual left/right buttons but even though you don't enjoy them you put them in. Another sign of a great developer when they listen to their fans. Can't wait for the IAP levels!
Awesome! Looking forward to it ......Apple, you better give this dev an expedit review or else...........
Example: Sine Mora --- Okay now anyone please let me know how iCade support is. My fingers are too itchy to wait!
I hope they do. It looks like sales for Stealth inc. have been fairly solid. I hope that pushes them to expidit the review for the update. This game has a permanent spot on all my Apple devices. User content would just make it that much better. Edit: if you're waiting to hear about icade, I get it. But the virtual controls are on par with League of Evil and any other games people would cite as having the best controls on the AppStore.
No, I am not waiting for icade at all. I am totally fine with the virtual control..... I am just impatiently waiting for the Community levels
Me too. It's funny how some of us are waiting to spend the IAP cost. It's as if money burnt our hands and we had to through it in ASAP Btw, how do you unlock the last two stages of each level? The S-ranking one seems easy (get S on all levels), but what about the helix level? Do you have to find the 10 helices? I guess there are levels with more than one helix, right?
This is different from the usual consumable IAPs or other IAPs for freemium games for in game currency (which I loathe). I will happily pay extra $1.99 for an access to community levels for a great port like this game with no hesitation. The customer support is fantastic and the game is so addicting. Please port Lone Survivor to IOS, I will buy it on day one.
Nope, there is only one helix in each level and you need to find eight of them before unlocking an extra level.
