Just wait till you face your first Thanos (Lvl 47 Super Carrier class ship I think). That thing is huge I think I've faced all the ship models in the game now even tho I only just hit lvl 44 myself. Gotta say the supercarriers have some pretty weird designs. Here's a little spoiler if someone wants to know what the highest level ships are like: Spoiler One is a huge Hammerhead with 3x Hammerhead supports. I think this might be the level 50 ship as it seems to have the most space of all. Another one is like two Wanderers that are joint in the middle with a long beam (20 or so tiles) so it looks like a giant letter H. It also comes with around 7 Raven's as supports. The ravens only have the main ship and not the light fighter supports tho. Last but not least is a huge version of Warrior with bulkier body and one original Warrior as support.
@Ribazki: I think you mentioned earlier that you banned the player eXe who had hacked your game. Care to explain why i'm still getting attacked by him from time to time? Last time he was using ship called "Training drone" too which probably isnt available for legit players. I think I got attacked by another player using that ship too earlier but didn't take a screencap so not gonna name him here. Another question: are there some levels when you get access to multiple ships? I got 3 more levels to go (lvl 47 atm) and I've faced four different ships I can't access yet. Or are there some ships that are only available for EO accounts?
Hmm, what's the deal with Hyperion Chaingun? Seems like the recoil is throwing my ship sideways or even backwards on each burst. Or is something else causing that? Impossible to use when you expose your ship like that. Maybe my ship (Captain) has too little mass to handle the gun..? Also: great game! Have't commented here before, but my in-game nick is Curath.
I've been noticing the same effect but I dont think it's the Hyperion Chaingun causing the effect but rather some weapons your enemy is shooting you with.. Impact missiles description says they could derail smaller craft and i think hydra missiles and capital cannon might have the same effect. P.S Glad to see you on the boards too, your certain Phantom laser builds were giving me a headache earlier until I noticed they weren't packing any shields [emoji1]
Query around ratings... I just lost to Stukov but it showed him/her as 831 or something, but on the leaderboard 1035. Why the discrepancy? Maybe I've missed it in a previous thread. Not bothered about the loss as Stukov is 2nd...but just wondering about the rating
I think the rating that is shown when you face someone is the rating he had when his ship build was saved into the servers database for possible opponents. Earlier Ribatzki said that ships you face arent the ships people at your rating are currently using but rather builds that have been earlier saved as possible opponents.
Random question.... What's the most battles that can take place whilst not in the game? What if I didn't play for a whole day? Am sure my highest was 7 a while back. Now it's maxing out about 5 as I mostly manage to play last thing before bed and soon-ish after getting up. Sounds like addiction!!!
At first I thought it may be impact missiles, but once I removed Hyperions from my main ship, it stopped turning sideways. I've only noticed that effect when using that gun in my Captain, where it isn't placed along the center axis. On the support ship it's been working fine, but it's also placed perfectly along the axis. And yeah, those laser Phantoms worked great for a while!
Okay, tried Hyperion Chaingun again and it worked without problems. Weird. Haven't seen my ship spin around uncontrollably since the first test, so not sure what caused it back then.
It might still be opponents capital cannon shots.. I'm still experiencing the issue from time to time. I'm using multiple hyperion chainguns in all my ships at the moment but it doesnt happen in all matches so either its some weird conditional bug or it's tied to something else.
Would be great if you could see your ship build straight away in the ship select screen. Just makes it easier when going between your ships without having to push the green hammer/spanner button to see what you've built. Plus being able to see main ship plus support at same time would be useful. Hope that would be an easy view option to add!
Fleet arena is still as painful as ever. At least now i can afford to throw as many Lightning ships at Admirals's fleet xd. There are not a lot of people using it so i keep getting the same people during matches. Are there any changes planned for it?
The exp gained depends on your kills. I cant really kill much with just a bunch of lighnings so i can't really tell how good the exp is gonna be. For now its just a small credit dump for a chance at celestium.
Starside Arena (By Epic Owl Ltd) The more expensive ships definetely arent worth it imo. The fleets you are faced against seem to be somehow tied to your own fleets power and even if you have an insane fleet you'll pretty soon get faced against even stronger one or perhaps just get attacked by 3 fleets in a single battle and just lose your ships. Edit: Even if you have way stronger fleet than any other player the game will find some devs fleet with total cost of dozens of millions and you'll pretty soon lose all your ships. I've never managed five consecutive matches without losing most of my fleet in a single match due to case like this and I've had some pretty strong fleets at one point when I didn't think I'd need the credits anymore. In hindsight I'd preferred having the creds saved up for when I hit lvl 50 and don't need celestium anymore. It takes a while to grind 12,5 mill for level 50 ships...
I just unlocked the crusader @ lvl39 and was suprised to find out the next ship would not be the eidolon. The next ship is the captain with a javelin support class. I have never battled one before and thought if everyone higher up chose to skip it? Is the captain bad?
Nope, it's pretty much the best ship before supercarriers imo. I'm still using two after hitting lvl 50 couple of days ago.
Newer player here, just hit Diamond League finally and noticed losing battles now costs rating as well, nice touch! Now to the point about enemies facing my older designs -- I find this makes hesitant of trying quirkier builds, as it means I'm basicly serving free credits/ratings towards other players. Do those "older models" leave the database at some point? Also, what's the exact timer on the daily?
