I'll check this game tomorrow to see how similar it is to FTL, but space battles don't seem anywhere near FTL EDIT: played a bit. This has zero resemblance to FTL. It's more like Elite or Space Trader, with very simple gfx. andysmash Well-Known Member Apr 6, 2011 2,067 1 0 #10 andysmash, Feb 11, 2015 This looks nothing like FTL. Looks more like a generic trader - like the kind you get programmed into a TI83 calculator back in 1996. Not at all like FTL though. I've been looking for an EV-alike for years. Unfortunately this being iPad-only it gets tossed into the same bin as the others... Ask a fair price and ban the freemium model wich, in this game, is plain ridiculous. As of now S.C. Is deleted. It's the nearest to FTL you'll find on iPhone, and FTL is still way better than PSI. Are there any games similar to this that have you managing a larger Fleet? So perhaps I have a reason to log in more th an once ever 5 hours for 10 seconds. It's too easy to get ahead for one, also the timers are ridiculous.... I'd rather pay a price and buy the game then wait hours for these jumps. Seems like a total robbery. Seriously, I played for like 20 minutes and went through all twenty.... It didn't force me but you have to make lots of jumps in the game, I'll be damned if I want to wait 1 to 2 minutes each jump, well that's if you stay in the same cluster of planets.... Go out of cluster say hello to five freaking hours for a wait. Ya. Deleted. Don't waste your time... Get the trees brothers space trader game.... It's phenomenal, always updates, the market is hard to control, the whole game changes if you just do one stupid backstab.... Get it.... This is crap... Space traders is good.....if you want space traders that is! These devs is straight greedy like a pimp, a bad pimp who only has one girl that's ass ugly and can't give a good HJ if her life depends on it.... You gotta pay rent so might as well extort the one or two weirdos gonna use her! That's this game! Don't condone prosititution! Ugly or not! Truffled: Go get the Trese Brothers one: Space Trader RPG. I bought the elite right away years ago. The IAP in their game is only for cheating. So you don't need to buy it at all! I had to beg for awhile to get em to add it! I bet others were too though. You'll get hooked on this Space Trader RPG one....it's brilliant, lots of games have come out with the same idea but NONE are as good! That Galaxy on Fire is a game with the same premise and 3D but I play Space Trader more! About 10 years ago I found a game at www.spacepirate.com It was an incredibly fun game. I was so hooked on it. One day it disappeared. The whole sight was "under construction" Every couple years since then I've gone back to see if the site was back up. Finally, just today, I found this thread from a year ago. The creator of the game I had played explained what happened, and what he has created since then, based off the game. I unfortunately do not have an ipad, however the predecessor to this game was so incredible that I would be willing to buy one just to try our this game. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
