Rainbow 6 is coming... although might take 2 or more weeks for an ipad version too..

Yeah i was really hoping for a release on Thursday, but to no avial. I hope Rainbow 6 comes to ipad sooner than starfront.

 

they are really are quite the assholes.
im sure they think about a HD ipad version, so when developping they make all the textures nice enough to fit and work on the ipad.
Then they just downscale it a bit(or dont) to make it work well on the iphone.
Then release it, then wait, then release the HD version. massive profit.

 

the Free version is now 1.1 and the other is 1.0 still

I hv starfront on my ipad, its grest. Im hoping the hd version for ipad is a sequel w more features not just upgraded gfx so i dont get screwed. Anyone know a release date?

Or buying it twice. That's why I haven't yet but have been tempted.

 

I would hope they try to have it optimized for the ipad 2 when its released, but maybe that is wishful thinking.

 

Maybe that's why it's delayed? Probably not but maybe.

 

Not likely given Gameloft updated Asphalt 6 for ipad 2 within, what, a few days from release? Very quickly, at any rate.

I'm willing to bet it'll be a good while longer before the devs at gameloft pull their finger out on this one. Such a shame, too.

 

Seems silly they would wait until the hype died down before releasing the iPad version.

 

With a company as big as GL, it's one of two reasons. Either there's a technical problem, which is unlikely, or they're waiting for a more financially promising release date, whenever that may be.

I can almost guarantee the HD version was completed at or around the same time as the standard version, because of the way they handle HD versions. Anyone with an iPad and FullForce or RetinaPad can vouch for that.

 

It's on sale still no love for iPad owners

BTW, does this game look good with retinapad or fullforce?
