Can you point us to the iphone previews because on the contrary what I've seen last December are Ipad previews which made me doubt the existence of the iphone version.
It was sent to several sites that function like Touch Arcade, doing reviews. A cinematic trailer was released in December. Also, the video that was labeled "iPad" was just labeled that because it was being previewed on the iPad. It doesn't mean that it isn't for the iPhone/iPod either Here was one by Pocket Gamer, titled "Hands on with Starfront: Collision on iPhone" http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/StarFront%3A+Collision/news.asp?c=25701
Cool I'm hearing good things and bad things, mostly good things. Now that this is probably being pushed back to February then hopefully any problems as of now are being fixed.
Im wondering Will it support The 2g??? I'm pretty getting tired of not supporting the old devices Well hopefully gameloft which never let down the 2g users (i think) support it and it will be a insta buy for me . And im hopin that the gameplay is simular to starcraft where there is gas and mineral .(there was drone mining mineral in the trailer so there must be scvs probes and drones.) and i hope theres like a unit where u can control like vulture control.
Time to upgrade, bro. Get the iPhone 5 when it comes out. The vast majority of itouch/iPhone users have upgraded, and newer games with better graphics require the processing power of newer generations. So pretty soon there won't be 2g support for any new games that come out.
sorry bro, for the newer games from Gameloft, tend to come with retina display, which is only capable on the newer devices. The game are also tailored for the newer more powerful devices. Buying the iPod Touch 4G wont break your bank but its defiantely worth it.
I'm sorry, but that's not what you meant to say. They are retina display OPTIMIZED, so you can play retina optimized games with older devices, just without the retina. What you meant to say is OpenGLS 2.0, where older devices can't run it. N.O.V.A. 2 could be played on 2nd gens too.
Can be played on 2G devices with lag... i have still have my old, heavy as a brick, 2G device and all games on it seem to be laggy, the newer anyway. And yes, i forgot about the OpenGLS 2.o thing too. Overall it would just be better to go and get a 4th Gen device, right?
If a game is retina display optimized it will only run with this optimization on the 4.th gen devices.
By the time this game will be release the hype will be dead. My interest in this game has dropped, I'm not as excited anymore....
Agreed. They already announced Rainbow Six when this isn't even out yet. This will definitely lose hype.
