Just fyi, I got a code from an amazing person here, but it says the code is only redeemable for US Store users. That's not a problem as such, but just saying.
And yes. You have to have a us iTunes account. ANYONE can create one, but that's a must have. Don't take a code if you're not willing to go through the process.
