So I went to one of the Starbucks in my area yesterday and couldn't find any codes. I was looking for the Sesame Street one for some of the parents I know on here that were asking for it. As a testament to time marches on, there are no kids in my family (own kids and nieces and nephews) that would enjoy this book, so my intent was to share. I asked the order person if they had codes and she said sure and she pulled one out from under the table. I figure ok, one at least. Nope, she asked if I could download it right there - in front of her! I tried to get around it and say that (fumbling for words) that oh well uhm I wanted it for my iPod Touch (but duh my iPhone was in my hand) and had to wait til I got home. She reminded me of their free wifi and I could use my phone and transfer it. Bottom line, unless I downloaded it there I couldn't use it. I asked why, and she said there has been too much abuse and hoarding of codes. So I can try another Starbucks but if they are waking up to this they might be harder to share.

They ARE waking up to the demand of these cards,,, we have received memos on how we are to handle them now... if the stores follow these memos is on them... Luckily I run a licensed store that, for some reason, gets more than our allotted amount of cards. And the runoff shall be passed on to you guys! Whats funny is I just got a HTC EVO android phone which has pretty much rendered my 2nd gen ipod useless too me so I barely even use the itunes anymore... But i've gotten so much from this site in the past and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the podcast so I'll keep hopping on with all our new codes!
