This game is pretty insane fun. Definitely worth buying if you like duel stick shooters, however here you can mod your ship in almost any crazy combination. Only slight fault is that the graphic could be better, but this is a very good product from the dev. Congrats.
Great game This game is a blast. The more you grind, the better you get, and I love experimenting with different parts. My question is, how do you eject?
Thought I'd post a video of a decked out ship. I went through 13 bosses in this run before blowing up. I'm still learning the best ways to record video from my phone so bear with the video. Sound level's low because I had my volume way down. I'll make a better one next time.
Nice, and you did it while rocking dual Scrappers. I don't think too many people have made it that far... Who else has beat the final boss? (And has anyone noticed what the final boss actually is?)
this game is really awesome!!! a lot of things to do, fast access to menues/build and action, a really refresh on the dual stick shooters world! the only complaint is that i own an iPhone 4, and the action is laggy when there's more than 2 or 3 enemies on screen... can you improve the performance in a future update? thanks again for the code pal!
Final boss is that number 13. That's where I am at currently. Starhip Enterprise? Awesome model btw. :-D
Trying to farm the last 29% for 5M. Is the boss... a giant spinning floppy drive? I don't recognize whatever it is with a heart. That or I forgot the meaning of 42.
You're getting close with the heart... maybe the trophy you win by killing it can give you another hint.
Are the bosses too easy to defeat? In the trailer, one laser or bullet would defeat the whole boss.. Are they that easy?
They have weak spots, some more accessible than others. Most are rigged with explosives too so they aren't that hard to blow up. It gets easier the more ship parts you get but downing even 5 bosses is a bit of a challenge when you've just started the game.
I'm enjoying this game more and more with each round. Finally tried my hand at hard mode (really want the upgrade buff) and I must admit it is quite the challenge, especially for my subpar vision. The only issue I have is deciphering which upgrade is which on this iPhone's limited screen space. I was hoping the dev could possibly add an option for bigger pieces of scrap for those with smaller screens (and possibly subpar vision). Edit: It's probably more or less me being used to the luxury of only having to upgrade by color. Lots to pay attention to while flying around and blasting everything in sight. Turning up the backlight helped quite a bit. Edit 2: After playing a bit more, I managed to get level 10 missiles, lv 10 blue shield, and lv 9 red engine. Had to slow down my gameplay quite a bit. Finally noticed that scrap that is needed for your upgrade paths tends to gravitate toward your ship. Hard mode is much more rewarding to say the least when getting used to it.
Does this game require an internet connection to play ? ( since someone said it has a daily rewards). I plan on playing this on long subway rides
Today's promo codes are up over in the promo codes forum (just look for 'anarkist'). I hadn't realized I wasn't supposed to post them here.
Thanks! Thanks for your support everyone, we've just hit "Best New Games" in the app store for iPhone/iPad in Canada, and just iPad in the US! I can't help but feel that you're all partly responsible.
I'd like to omit my previous post regarding an option to make scrap bigger; that isn't necessary at all. After a few more rounds and quite a few upgrades later, the game is much easier, even on hard mode, which is very rewarding. An outstanding job was done with every aspect of gameplay. I'm looking forward to any updates. Although this might have been mentioned before, the destroy 100 missiles in a single round achievement doesn't seem to work with any gun being used. Also, although probably mentioned before, a fixed stick option would be great (having the issue where my finger keeps sliding onto the border but I'm used to it now). Best run: All 12 bosses defeated/543 enemies slain/$588,664 collected/somehow only 5 parts collected/8338 parsecs travelled
