Oh gosh, I can't remember now. I'm absolutely addicted to the ship building aspect that I'm building something new almost every game, lol. That particular ship was days ago, lol.
Well crap, I didn't know anti-missile guns were allowed, lol. Does that mean hey are allowed for mr. Bombastic, too? Because that would really help. Thanks for posting your setup.
Yeah, you can use them for Mr. Bombastic too! And you're welcome! The ship building is a really cool aspect of the game. I wish we could save different setups for each ship layout.
Now there's a nice idea. That would be pretty handy, actually. My biggest wish is to be able to move the cockpit around on the anarkist layout. It's touted as "pure freedom", but until I can move that cockpit, it actually isn't lol. Having that sucker right smack dab in the middle really does get in the way sometimes.
This is the game where I got my 1000 kills achievement. At some point it just doesn't seem to get harder anymore. Got unlucky with some unwanted pickups in the end.
We're addressing that in the next update. After a certain point, you will get more difficult enemies that are more like mini-bosses.
Awesome! I got like 1500 kills last night, but it shows me at 176. I did it with the crab.. Kinda bummed as that would put me high up the leaderboard!
Started playing this last night for the first time. I've had some crashes between the ship designer and actually launching the ship to play. I think every crash happened when the game had loaded and I just had to tap the screen to start playing. I'm on a 4S with 6.1.3. It's not the end of the world as the game is so fantastic that I'll put up with the occasional crash.
I know I'm late to the party but this game has eaten nearly all of my game time for the last two days. My main complaint is still the crashing. I think 1 out of every 7 or so times I go to edit my ship and then start a game it crashes during the transition to the actual game world. Yet I keep playing anyway since I've lost no progress yet with it. I'm just over 1/2 way through the achievements. I'm having issues building a good enough ship to get a good run for some of the recommended achievements ... but I'll get there. I just unlocked my first drone launcher thing.
Can you describe the crash a bit more? Does it happen before or after you tap to continue? If after, how long after? Do you see the game start at all? Or just the loading screen? Feel free to private message me your answers and I'll try to sort this crash out for you. We're getting very few crash reports.
Every single crash is after editing a ship in the garage. Often after changing ships. Then I hit Launch. The loading screen pops up and it has the "Tap to continue..." message and the moment I tap it's an instant crash to springboard without any of the actual level loading. So it's on that transition. I have well over a gig free of storage space, I always force close apps I'm not using (helps on battery power), and I'm running this on a 4S with 6.1.3. I don't use icloud for saves (not sure if this game has it, just saying). I went into my diagnostic and useage page in Settings and I do not get a Low Memory report for this crash nor is there a crash with the game name in the title. I looked at every single crash report on my phone and nothing from the last few days and anything close I looked at and it was for other apps. This isn't every single time I edit, just randomly after playing the game for a while. Restarting the game always works and launching immediately from the main menu picks right back up where I left off with all the ship changes exactly as they were made right before the crash. I want to think that each time maybe I had unlocked a new part and I was just going to see what it was... I'll try to pay better attention to the conditions surrounding the crash. Ultimately it's annoying as I've been putting HOURS into this game the last several evenings. So maybe over one evening I'll end up covering around 6 or so crashes. But as annoying as it is, the game is good enough to keep on playing.
I'm also having trouble with the leaderboards not updating sometimes, and I can't make the game register any score with the mosquito or hammer. Looking forward to the update!
First off, GREAT GAME -- thank you for putting so much effort into it! Secondly, I get the exact same crash and it's on the loading screen before the Tap to Continue state is rendered. I'll try to add more detailed steps to reproduce if I can, but it seems pretty random as to when it happens from a user's perspective. Excellent job, thanks again!
Fun game. Is there an online catalogue of favorite ship designs? For a major update or sequel, I'd like some kind of mission progression, with different victory conditions, environmental hazards, and other factors. The referral system is kinda annoying, but I get it. I'd love to just be able to use my GameCenter friends. If anyone is feeling generous, here is a referral code for me: HPY9V
