Great news! We'll be making Starborn Anarkist free for 2 days starting on Monday! If you haven't yet played the game, please give us a chance...
You can get a code by sharing the game with a friend from within the app... When your friend enters your code, you get bonus content.
Sad? Quite the opposite! It's only free for 2 days to gain some attention. Up until now VERY few people have played the game.
My code is F48WU, I'll enter the others. Edit. It only looks like the codes are a one time thing.. =(
You can refer as many friends as you like. However, each friend can only be referred once. What do people think about this sharing system? Since we're having trouble getting word out about the game, the idea was to reward players who tell their friends about the game, that's all. The bonuses are in no way part of the main gameplay, so you're not missing out on any content by not sharing. But is that clear? Or do people feel like they are being punished for not sharing?
This is a great game, easily my favourite of its type on iOS and thoroughly recommended as a download for anyone even slightly tempted. The fast paced combination of action, construction, tactics and experimentation make for a lot of fun! ...but the referral system does feel unfair. There's no bonus there that would be missed if it wasn't sitting there, locked. Knowing that all your friends who would like the game already have it already means you'll probably never get them. Maybe introduce some sort of alternative unlock method... achievements, twitter posting, rare reward from the daily chest, credit cost, or all of these.
Here are some codes for myself. UYWGD 97UD9 MD9R3 PZR76 H57B2 FL4AR HDR3D Share your codes and I'll use 'em.
Since you asked, it essentially killed the game for me almost as quickly as I realized how much I liked it. Knowing full well what I'm opening myself up to (I love you TA...), the completionist part of me realized pretty quickly that the odds of achieving many of the perks was fairly unrealistic, and I pretty much stopped playing at that point... Just one guy's opinion. Otherwise? Really, really cool game with some refreshingly new takes on existing mechanics, as well as some satisfying surprises! :-D DBC
