It's bugged, I have the same issue. I read a few pages back that its to be fixed. I'm having an issue with the power up to max with each color achievement. I've gone full red, green and blue (level 10, and numerous times in fact) in one round yet this does not seem to unlock for me.
Same here on that one, and I know that one is for sure bugged because the achievement where you kill 3 bosses without gathering anything.... I had about 1000 powerups chasing me all over everywhere and as soon as the boss died I got all of them at once and nothing.
I've had no issues unlocking the "3 bosses no pickups" achievement. Maybe you accidently picked one up? The power up to max achievement is about getting max power engines shields and weapons in a different color each. You have to disable easy mode for that, so you can upgrade ship parts individually. E.g.: lvl10 blue weapon; lvl10 red shields; lvl10 green engines or any other combination you like. The spin gun is indeed bugged and will be fixed next update according to zemindgames.
Been playing this one a lot and while I like the Tilt to Live system of unlocking weapons (with achievements) and I find the game to be very enjoyable with all the destruction and all, I find it very hard to maneuver around and collect the "coins", any tip for this as for any type of engine to add? Is there any trick to it?
The magnet helps attract coins. The craft seems more responsive with more engines / engine buffs and less weight / parts.
@Alrikster You seem to have misread what I wrote. I didn't have problems with either achievement you stated but the one where you powerup a system in 30seconds or less. I was using the example of the 3 bosses achievement to show that I had indeed powered up in less than 30 seconds. I also knew about the other achievement in regards to powering up each one individual and not universal. But thanks anyways.
Oh right i see, my bad. The timer for that achievement actually starts at the beginning of the round. You have to power up to max within the first 30 secs of the game. I was only able to do his with the help of the upgrade booster, where you get +2 charges instead of +1.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh, that may help a lot. I assumed it was 30 seconds from the moment you touched the upgrade not 30 seconds into the round.
Any tips for getting the kill 3 bosses without power ups and kill 3 bosses without damage achievements? I find those 2 very hard :S
Doh, I just broke a 15 day bonus streak. Was playing every day, but got busy yesterday. And the reminder notification appears to have been displayed some time after 2am, so missed it.
What helped me with the no upgrades one was a tip on one of the earlier pages. Fly in one direction, while firing of course (this works best with rockets) and make a 90degrees turn when a new wave of enemies arrives. This worked quote nicely for me.
For the "no damage, kill 3 bosses" achievment, green shields are your friend. If your shield doesn't drop, you don't take damage. Load up on shields and shield buffs and don't worry about plating/hull points as if you take any the run is over.
Please provide a setting to lock virtual joy stick location, thanks. ETA - I think the above would fix most of the complaints about controls
Anyone else having an issue with gamecenter achievements? I've unlocked all but two in the game but only a handful show as unlocked in gamecenter!
Confirmed bug, that will get properly sync-ed after the next update. As long as you've got the achievement locally, it will show up in gamecenter after the update.
Starborn Anarkist has made the final 10 for the Original/Indie iOS GoTY poll! Please vote if you feel this game deserves to win! http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=212954
Wow! I'm truly humbled. Thanks to anyone who voted! The update is nearing completion, but then there's still the Apple approval process. I'll post here when it's getting close.
Bizzump for one of the best iOS games I have played. Everything about this game is awesome, it has that Foursaken vibe to it where it feels like the Dev bit off way more than he could chew but somehow it all magically worked and the result is a ridiculous romp. We had better get a sequel to this game or there will be mobs forming with farm implements. Bigger ships, bigger bosses, bigger everything. I only have one single gripe, and that is the Facebook push - which is par for the course in all games for reasons I will never fathom because we universally despise it, but in this instance there is a ship design I will never see because of it. Just... No. Just say no to Facebook polluting great video games.
