I may be totally wrong but I'm quite sure light sabers are a weapon that only a Jedi with proper training can wield. Sure anyone can pick up one and turn it on, but I think that all non-Jedi who did this, didn't live long enough to tell the others.
That's the point. Anyone can wield one but would never stand a chance in a fight against a Jedi or Sith. But guess what, there's only one Jedi left, lol. It should be a light saber massacre.
The sword is not bad. Does big damage to close range. I use it but keep the pistol power. I am getting close to level 20 and it does keep allot harder for the rosky reward. Kinda wish your crew could go in missions with you.
But here is the bigger problem. When the Jedi were destroyed, the empire destroyed their light sabers as well. There simply are not many light sabers around. And making light sabers are excessively difficult, and can only be made with the aid of the force. Sure light sabers are fun, they just don't make sense with where the game takes place in the new canon.
Lvl16 now - this game gets more engaging the further you get. Played a team assault which showed coop works but was a little laggy. I love the crew missions - very similar to WoW followers and gives decent rewards for the effort. There is so much room for future content here. This could be a big game. I said before that it was 'a good mobile port' I didn't mean it was a port. Just meant that it is great on the mobile platform on the go. And it seemlessly syncs progress with my iPad mini 2 retina. Does not work on my kid's iPad mini 1 (but it does not claim to support older devices). I couldn't get into spirit lords before. But with the story and Star Wars setting, this re-skin as people are calling it, is awesome. The classless system is really cool. You actually feel like your character could be a unique part of the story - which is better than seeing fifty Luke's waving light sabers around the cantina. Graphics are outstanding, music could be more exciting during missions, but you know you are playing a Star Wars game (and so do the people around you). The blaster sounds are perfect. 4.5/5 so far. This is the best F2P model ARPG on mobile so far. Hopefully Torchlight mobile sees this before they ruin their namesake.
I don't understand how any of the stats in this game work. What do the icons next to "Salavge" mean? What does Utility do? Why is there a "-2 blue pistol" and a "+1 purple backpack" shown when comparing items? What the hell do your character's backpacks and canisters do?
Backpacks add to your armor, attack and other stats. I almost have mine to level 4 I can't stop playing. I decided to make a purchase. The game is worth it. The triple firing bowcaster and the r2d2 droid was worth it too! I'm almost level 19. A live event to defend Matao is about to happen. Let's roll people! Billy
Yea I think they didn't plan their server usage well. I keep disconnecting. Luckily I did get the rewards from my fight. Billy
I spent over 4 hours playing today. It's insane. I've totally lost track of time. I was on an imperial star destroyer, I was on Hoth! I don't get how anyone could not like this game. Seriously. I totally enjoy playing levels with the other players. I'm still not in a cartel. I'm holding out hope the TA one get sorted out. We should, however, make a set day and time to meet at a specific place and do some playing together! I have a question. I've been doing the assault missions like crazy. I have over 10k victory points. It's still showing I have no rank though. Even though it says you are a recruit for this many points and then lieutenant for the next tier. Etc etc. anyone know why or understand t? I understand this is the first live event so are the ranks awarded after it's over ? Billy
The leaderboard updates every two hours, which also means that you have to assume anyone ahead of you in the leaderboard has two hours of victory points more than it shows.
It's brutal. They must have a large crew doing just the victory point runs and must have really great gear.
I created the TA one, but it's still saying I am too low in rank to do anything with it Had issues getting online last night so couldn't play!
I might as well sound like an idiot but this game actually seems good. I mean NO ENERGY?!Really?And it's made by Kabam,not as brutal as Glu but seriously! Maybe this is the future of free2play?I hope so! I really like the game,I like the fact that there are not any BS chance stuff in upgrading your gear (like 50% to upgrade this gem to level 3). I like the huge amount of weapons,skills and especially the environments,i hope that we'll get more planets eventually. LSW - complete saga,KOTOR and this game is definitely awesome,oh and don't forget about KOTOR 2 which should come out on ios eventually!
You press the salvage button. A screen appears with all your items in your inventory. The ones you are wearing are not shown. You then click all the items you want to salvage once and it will be highlighted. After selecting all the items you want click the salvage button again and it will then show you what everything was broken down into. Billy
