If anything, at least they'll get another bit of 'bux' out of circulation from the cost to move all these new levels into position.

What are you guys talking about? The new levels would cost me 256 Bux a piece. No sign of 1 Bux anywhere!

    My version number is 1.4.2937
    Data 1.4.0.6

I just built new levels for 27 mio. coins before my money ran out. Buying another level with bux would cost 1328.

If they cost 1 bux that surely was a mistake. Also, the game switched from German to English in the middle (after getting the 1.4.0.6 data, I assume).

Maybe the levels blowout really was a "goodbye" from the devs.

    New level count:
    Food: 15
    Service: 16
    Recreational: 16
    Retail:19
    Residential: 55
    Imperial: 21

Wow! I only have 37 of 55 residential and 13 of 19 retail.

It sounds like I got in at the right time for building the levels. The game gave me a choice before I logged in to choose the 'local' or 'network' option. The 'local' option was 8h30m old while the network was 1d. I guess choosing the local option allowed me to buy the levels for the bugged price.

I have noticed the game is a hell of a lot slower with all the new levels in build. They could make the game run a whole hell of a lot smoother if they just didn't make the bitizens MOVE. I don't honestly care if they move, but when the game's chugging a bit on a 2013 Nexus 7, something's up.

And yeah, it's really suspect them adding so many new residential levels and so few retail/job levels comparatively. 22 residential levels plus the occasional recruiting officer and a very high chance of 'free' DJ bux (provided you're not suffering from the bug) means they just handed people a lot of free highest-chance probe launches.

Yeah, no idea what you guys are talking about with 1 bux levels. My cheapest residential level to unlock is 133 bux and highest priced is 177 bux. I've always chosen local save and I get offered that WAY too much.

Duh! I also bought the rest for 1 bux now. You need to go through Menu, Shop, Levels! Why doesn't somebody say so?? :p

Edit: And yes, it's slowing down to a crawl now with 135 levels here (iPhone 5).

There's an Imperial level called "Main Bridge" (translation?) that's still locked. That wasn't part of an event, was it?

It does makes sense for it to be more OT based, since it is the Death Star! However, they do have Kaminoans as well as a new Kamino Apt. There are other prequel levels like Kamino Apts, Geonosian Grub. Other prequel species like Togruta, Bessalisk, Kel-Dor, Geonosian.

I'd say the developers are huge Star Wars fans based on all of the little inside references like Panna City Medicine, tons of EU stuff, item names, etc.

Nope, there are many more levels planned and listed in some of the files. We've also got a new event coming...very soon!

A faster elevator would also be cool :p, one that would go into hyperdrive
It now takes 39 secs to bring folks to the 116th floor!

You said, "We've also got a new event coming..." which would indicate you are working for or connected to Disney.

It would be helpful if you would let them know that my experience with adding all floors on my iPad & now being unable to open the program is hardly unique. Their FB fan page is riddled with stories like mine: floors added, status bar disappearing, then program unable to open, just "loading" screen prior to black screen & crash.

My guess is it's a memory issue especially if the new floors are slowing down (but not crashing, not yet, at least) iPhone 5's. Whatever it turns out to be, those left behind are likely to be ex-players since I can't imagine anyone wanting to start from square one, especially given the changes in the game (bux for VIP, bux to finish building a level or stocking a store, etc.) which make the game harder than it initially was.

Hopefully Disney will realize it can't make money off of someone who can't even open the game to play it!

I won't through both methods and the new levels are now 255 Bux, down from 256. Data still 1.4.0.6.

Possibly because I didn't have all the other levels already. I'm actually quite annoyed people where able to buy them at that price and I can't.

Feels more than a little unfair.

So the new levels for 1 Bux was a glitch that has been fixed? I can't tell if people just aren't looking in the right place or they actually changed it.

Maybe it only happened for a few people under special circumstances. I told a friend of mine and he had prices of 162 Bux each...

I was able to buy all the new levels for a buck a pop. It was lasted as a sale under the store menu item. Perhaps it was just a glitch, like not getting any new Vader's missions.

Wow, I didn't know those levels were added. That's awesome! I retract my statement then. I just haven't been able to unlock enough to know, I guess!

And when I go to menu, store, levels, none are 1 bux. When I go to album, levels, none are 1 bux. I don't want to miss out on this! Do I need to do something else?!

I think the "we" just referred to "us" players of the game. If he is an insider, he wouldn't have to inspect the game files.
