How does this game compare with Tiny Tower? I jumped straight into this without playing TT and currently have about 10 floors. I enjoy this game but I'm wondering if I should continue this game or switch to TT.
The 1.2 update seems to run much better. Has anyone encountered the "decorative VIPs" that are mentioned in the update description yet? Edit: There is a new service level! 11 now. mnemo
So anyone found a comprehensive wiki of the scenes and which character unlocks them? Some have been mentioned here I know, but it's not the most convenient place to look for Just have only two dudes working on one of your lowest stocking shop like the Gym (fire one worker if needed), and you'll be able to do it again.
Got the decoration droid! It's announced by a new symbol and when you send it to a level, you get a small animation of it putting colored lights up. The arrivals level also has the lights already. Also, there's a "decoration mission" in the top right-hand corner. It asks you to decorate 10 levels to get a special reward (character). There are 24 days to complete the mission. mnemo
OMG! I just lost my progress.... After the latest update, I did yesterday night, it seemed to work but today I opened again the app and everything I had was lost... I spent so much time on this game, it is frustrating to loose everything without any support from the developers! Any chance to get my progress back?
I did not have any decoration, I'm pretty sure... It seems my upgrade had a bug... I had some new feature like the "?" characther to move where I want, but no decoration. The proof I had a bug is that now I lost everything I WANT ALL MY STUFF BACK!!!!
Saving your Progress For those who seems to have some Reset problems, I got one way to secure your Data juste in case this happens. Just try to find any Program which allows you to enter your Iphone's Apps (like Ifunbox for example, but there are some others too). Then, you go into the Tiny Death Star folder and copy paste all the Documents to your Computer. And if you have a problem with your game and it got Reset, just go back to your saved files and copy them back in your Application using the program. I tried it and it worked fine for me. It actually can restore the data entirely but it only works on Ipad or Iphone Separately. You can't exchange your game progress between them.
I usually use iExplorer to manually manage my saves, but you have to do this operation many times if you do not want to loose anything. In my case I tried to have a look into the app folder, but I don't understand how to fix my data loss
This very same problem already happened with an upgrade of Tiny Tower and it is unbelievable that developers stumbled again in the same mistake! We also have game center to save our progress and share it between iDevices, and it's strange it has not been used.
No way... I have to give up, and stop playing this stupid game! Need to find another addictive game...

Well, the point is to build more floors and unlock cut scenes and characters. So you can see them walking around and smile. If it gets impossible to do so unless you spend real money, then it's not fun anymore, right? I also tap on stuff, but now it just takes forever to see something new.
Maybe I missed it earlier, but I just noticed there's 11 services level available instead of 10. Food, Recreation, and Retail still only have 10 each. The new service one is Panna City Medicines, and it has a cut scene as well.
