I will soon have 100 million credits, I only hope it doesn't roll back to 0 after I pass 99999999 credits! EDIT - luckily it didn't roll back to 0 credits, here is the evidence EDIT - every big spender now gives me slightly above a million credits.
I had trouble getting the 500,000 credits and 1,000,000 credits achievements to pop. Ended up having to hard reboot my iPod, then make sure I fired up GameCenter before I logged back into TDS. When I did it that way, the achievements popped as soon as I restarted the game.
They seriously need to update the game with more floors soon, or I suspect there will be a user drop off. They should add at least 100 new levels in the next update.
I lost all my data and I was almost at the end.... is there anyone here that knows how to get it back?
Neither my nor my daughter's iOS games have been progressing correctly while sleeping. Timers seem to work. Floors get built, Imperial levels build stuff, Stocking proceeds. But no money collects. On the plus side, my stores all stay stocked. On the minus side, it takes FOREVER to save up for even a relatively inexpensive new floor. I dread adding levels now for fear of how long it will take to add the next one. Vader missions are the only way we can progress right now.
DUDE THIS JUST HAPPENED TO ME RIGHT NOW. WTF HAPPENED. All my sh¡t is gone. It's as if I opened it for the first time. WTF
Fortunately he game works perfectly here, which is pretty odd considering I very, often have issues with games, You could try their customer support, but I hear it's really slow.
My issue with the game is that it's far too easy to make money in it. I have built all 81 floors days ago now, and since then I've made 130 million credits... so I assume that when they add new levels to the game, I will probably be able to afford most of them right away.
Found a little trick I'm pretty sure most of you probably know of this already, but I feel it warrants mentioning. This is an exploit you can do to build levels faster, stock/sell goods faster etc. I guess it could be considered a cheat, so I will leave it as a spoiler. Spoiler The game runs on your phone's internal clock. Therefor, you can start building a floor, start stocking every shop and start making emperial items, etc. Then go to your phone's settings and change the time forward however long you want. When you go back into the game, everything will have advanced as much time as you moved on your phone. The downside; Any time you move your phone's clock backwards, the game will automatically evict a random bitizen which could end up being a level 9 dreamer. I find that losing 1 random guy isn't really that bad for completing long build times almost instantly.
Does this little trick allow you to evict a bitizen when all jobs are filled and vader would normally not let you fire someone?
Same thing happened to me. Everything completely wiped out. So pissed. Decided to start it back up today from square 1. Le sigh....
If the game is SO important, just make a backup with iTunes each day (or use iCloud) and restore the backup if you won't lose anything important on the device... mnemo
Right on the money. After I lost everything I decided to backup everyday now. Anyone get the "Get Bux" Store to work yet?
Unfortunately, the iTunes backup doesn't seem to save this game. I installed a full backup on a new iPad, and most of my games had their save but not this one. I had to use iFunbox to manually copy the directories
Cheating? For which purpose lol No cheating for a restore to a different device with the same GC/ICloud/iTunes account? It's very uncommon, most games transfer the save through the iTunes sync. If that's done on purpose, it's idiotic imho. It just means you don't have a save anywhere if there's a problem with your device and have to restore, or if you change for a new one. Doesn't seem very consumer friendly, even more if you bought IAP. If it's accidental, they'd better fix it or add iCloud saving!
Yeah, this is probably the most confusing thing to me. If these companies WANT you to spend money, why wouldn't they implement iCloud saves? Without them we keep losing our saved games and are forced to start over. That just encourages deleting the game! I mean, I just reinstalled Pocket Trains AND when I fired it up, it told me how many coins I earned while away, just like I never deleted it at all. THAT'S what this game needs to do. What is preventing them from putting that in the game? Is Lucas Arts preventing it?!
Maybe they thought that if you lose your savegame once every few weeks you might need to buy bux again.
