So I've noticed a neat little glitch. The last level I added was a Retail level, and when I went in to see which ones I had left (so I could see which bits I had who were still waiting on a dream job), I noticed I had Galactic Music unlocked, even though the level was still in build. So there you have it, you can see what your next level is going to be before it finishes, simply by looking at the type and seeing which one's unlocked that you don't have yet. Not very useful, but at least it helps you plan your shuffling in advance.
Ok. I quit this game. Was fun , but the lack of bux is incredible. And the price of the upgrade impossible to get without spending money.
How did you upgrade a level to rank 44? Do you get so many Upgraders or just by spending loads o' bux? mnemo

So my game data mysteriously wiped itself. Anyone had this problem yet? Lost all progress without so much as a thank you
Version 1.1.1 update online for iOS! "Corrects small bugs and optimizes performance." There's now a "Connect" option in the menu where you can link the game to Facebook to "save your progress and find friends".
Be warned though, farming dreamjob Bitizens for bux has been nerfed. If you want to make someone unemployed, you get confronted with a displeased Darth Vader telling you to build more business floors.. Maybe it's something to do with me having nearly all my residential floors 4/5 occupied, I don't know yet. Just a heads up..
The update broke the store for me. Anytime I click on the "get bux" button I get a "Could not connect to store. Make sure you're connected to the internet" message.
Every time I press the Get Bux button I get told there is an Error and no internet connection. Which isn't true.
Yep, the store isn't working for me either. I was excited because they added in the option to earn free bux, my guess is by watching some promo videos. But the store won't load, which I assume is the way to get free bux. They also haven't seemed to fix some of the buggy achievements, like "Build an Imperial Level". I've built around 12 of them and I still don't have the achievement, I'm afraid I'm going to build them all and not get it and then never be able to unlock it. >.<
After the update, still no iPod support. Not compatible with my android phone anyway, so screw this game !
The new fix says it also fixes the negative imperial dollars. I was charged over a hundred imperial dollars for a level and didn't have it so I have been working off a negative balance for a couple of weeks. I still have negative 81 bucks. So frustrating.
This is my problem. And not just for the sake of farming. I've got an employee with like a 4 already working, but I want to switch him for a new level 9. How can I switch, are the employees stuck forever in their first job?
I guess the only way now is to move the bitizen to a new job (if you have a job vacancy) or evict them. Such a lame update -.-
I was dismayed to see this as well (while scratching my head wondering how they managed to make the performance on my 4S even worse), however… Darth only tells you off if you've filled every job slot. You can't reassign - so you have to sack someone.
Yep, you're right. You can always evict someone, and replace the empty spot with another dream jobber. So now it's only a problem if you want to have all spots filled with skill level 9 Bitizens. Or one way to circumvent this is to save up certain jobs until you get a lvl.9 and then 'chain-evict' them after employing them and end with the new lvl.9 in the old spot. All in all I think it's a little unnecessary to go to this length to disable a playing strategy.. Oh, and I have to agree on the performance of the game after the update. It used to run pretty smoothly (iPhone 4S here too) but now there's a notable stutter in the gameplay, especially after playing for a few minutes. Hope they fix this in the future.
I DIDN'T choose to update but it changed my game nonetheless. Thus I was not allowed to switch a bitizen out of store, as I had in the past, I had to evict. Way to make a difficult game even MORE unplayable! Kudos to the devs! (NOT!) As for the "free bux," you get one free bux for watching a video but loads more for giving out personal information or signing up for things like Hulu. Most things you get bux for cost $$ but you can get up to 228 bux for a magazine subscription. This newest feature is not a bargain but rather the heaviest-handed sales pitch I've ever seen in an app. If you genuinely want what they're selling, it's a good deal (maybe you wanted to pay for Hallmark Cards online), if not, it's a new & dangerous direction for IAPs. Didn't think the devs could make this game any worse/harder/monetizing than it was but, hey, guess I was wrong. p.s.: There are NO reviews for TDS in iTunes or App Store to be found. Wonder why...
I'm sorry, I think I misunderstood earlier. You're absolutely correct, as long as you do not fill up all job spots in your game you can make someone unemployed, and cycle Bitizens through any job you want. Thanks, that's a big help!
