I've asked that same question before. Characters with [?] must ask for the floor that unlocks the scene. For example, if a [?]Gungan asked for 12th floor, yet Spoiler Mos Espa Cafe was on 10th floor, he won't get off on 10th floor. The only exception is the Imperial floors. If [?]Leia asked for 18th floor, she can get off on Spoiler Interrogation Room . I believe this is why more than one character can unlock scenes. Otherwise, it'll take forever.
Well that sucks. Not much to discuss then since its completely up to the game when you get scene unlocks, besides the very few sub level ones. Knowing who matches with what level doesn't help you at all in the upper floors. BTW has anyone else looked into the "Choose specific level" option in the "Add level" menu? Maybe someone with 1 bux left can try so they have nothing to lose.
That's good and bad news to me. Good that is not a bug. Bad news for me because I had 25 bitizens when I picked it up and have only added 10 more since!
Rank 24 on my Bounty Hunter level - and I think I'm starting to see diminishing returns, which makes me wonder if 25 is the max level. I've no clue how many units it'll be once it's done building, but there's already a Big Spender waiting for it.
I decided to try downloading it yet again on my iPod 5G running 7.0.3, and it miraculously worked this time. Looking forward to trying it out.
Level rank doesn't stop at 25. Sheesh. 51,000 "Price on Head"s at that level every 9h6m. Each Big Spender use confers 153k. ...which is a good thing, since levels are about to start crossing the 300k mark for me.
Ehm.. Floor price = 150x('# total floors' - 2)^2 You start out with 2 floors, so those are free. 300k for a new floor is about 47 floors total..
Any ideas on how I can transfer my progress on my old iPad to my new iPad? I won't start again from scratch ...
It definitely helped me since I had given up on following the Emperor's orders given that particular "request." Eventually I did get 30 although I wasn't counting. And this is what I especially dislike about the game. Why should bux, extremely hard to come by (!!), be used NOT to do something but to skip it. LucusArts et al are counting on people to "just suck it up." That said, that's exactly what I had to do with the "Communications Level." After reading someone else's post here I skipped that mission ("sucked it up" - you won this one, LucasArts) & did a few other missions before I got stuck again. This being the opposite of how TT did it, with the few upgraders I've had I've focused on floors that stock fewer items. Yes, I did notice the time didn't change at Mos Espa Cafe but I figured it was a "bug." Thanks for disabusing me of that assumption. Upgraders will now have better destinations! Don't find taking one minute off each elevator job all that useful, myself, but DO appreciate the ability to double/triple/quadruple/quintuple coins awarded with an elevator upgrade. As far as I recall, one could only double the coins rewarded in TT. Missions do seem"pretty useless." I totally agree that I would be more tempted to "skip" if coins weren't the only reward and/or bux were more plentiful in the game. After a certain level, the coin reward becomes progressively less useful. Appreciate your observations & suggestions, vicsark.
Why do all my special characters request the wrong floor? I've gotten like 15 (?) ewoks and they ALWAYS want to go to pet emporium instead of imperial museum. And like 10 (?) gungans that never want the scene floors even though I have both the ones listed earlier here. Are all those really just regular ewoks and gungans? Are the odds of getting a scene unlock really that bad?
That's the only mission I skipped, simply because it's so vague, difficult and potentially bugged. And I've definitely noticed as the game has progressed that opportunities to obtain bux have increased (find the bitizen, locate the rebel, etc). It's not to the level of Tiny Tower, but I'm at 30 floors and I've managed to get the 125-bux elevator. I haven't bought any bux and thus far I'm not inclined to.
49 listed floors - my 50th will cost 303,750cr. And I've found a new annoyance in regards to Vader's missions. I had a mission that requires me to build the Retractable Bridge. I've just been buying Imperial levels randomly, hoping to get it - however, in this particular mission, the requirements switched from 3x of Turbolaser product to 3x of *Superlaser* product once the level stopped building. The Turbolaser product is 2h. The Superlaser product takes 5h30m for one.
I had another mission bug. I was told to build a recreation level. I did, and the mission icon changed to look like it was completed, but when I went to get my reward the Emperor is still telling me to do the mission. Every time I reenter the game, the icon looks like its complete but same thing over and over. I skipped it using bux, and now the next mission is exactly the same. Keeps showing the completed mission icon every time I start even though I haven't even done it yet. I'm afraid all my missions are going to be bugged now.
Hmm, 90k-ish Vader mission complete...only took three hours...what's the next one? Oooh, 209.5k reward! What do I need? Hmm, 7x Salvage...check. 3x Security Codes...check. 10x Test Firings??? (Test Firings are the Superlaser level product. They take 5h20m per completion -_-)
Another silly bug: when a citizen wants to go to floor 2 and you take him before the "2" appears on his head (you know it goes to 2 because the door border in the elevator goes blue), then the citizen gets stuck in the elevator, and it stays there forever. You have to kill the app for everything to work again. On a sidenote, just bought the 125-bux elevator, only to find that the last elevator costs 499 bux. It costs even more than all the other elevators together. 25-75-125-499... That's a steep price. Anyway, I got the other just by playing, so I'll eventually get there with this one too. The thing that keeps me coming back is the unlockables: mini film strips, characters, etc. At least it's not impossible to achieve the bux in-game...
Has anyone else noticed that you get two imperial bux when a rebel hero escapes? When you capture a hero, it tells you that you received 1 bux, but when they escape it just says "security must be tightened," so I always assumed that you got nothing. But if you watch your bux it actually gives you two every time. Or maybe this is common knowledge? I just found it odd.
Hmm.. that's odd. I'm currently at 49 floors and my 50th will cost me 331,350 cr. so maybe there's some other factor that determines the cost of the next floor. Maybe something to do with the Imperial Floors you get, I don't know. I've been really lucky I guess since I could complete all missions when I got to 10 Imperial Levels (skipped once for not wanting to wait for Communications level). But then I had really different missions than some people are reporting here, I never needed Test Firings for instance. I guess the Empire has its own hidden agenda..
So I'm currently stuck on a mission to move in 30 Bitzens when I already have 35 in my tower. I don't want to use the bux to skip something that's so easily achievable but clearly bugged.
It's still achievable - the mission IS bugged, though. It's 30 bitizens from the point you get the message, including those who you take in then evict. I think I was wrong earlier - my 'level count' has been fluctuating, but I do remember the 50th (at least, the one that gave me the '50 Levels' achievement) cost around or exactly that amount.
