If anyone can help, I'm on the mission which requires having 30 bitizens. I built a total of 6 residences which make 30 residents, but the game isn't recognizing all the characters. Am I missing something?

How do I "visit the store"?

EDIT: Never mind, just figured it it.. Sorry. They meant the in game store not the actual retail stores...

First one is easy because you already get some bux at the start. Now two hours later I have 2 bux and the next upgrade is 75... Yeah right, this game is really sparse on the bux.

Plus, the level unlock prices are insane if this is the only way to unlock new businesses.

OK, here are the three different task types I’ve seen. It’s the last, “find a spy” one that I’ve been having problems with. Based on everyone else’s descriptions, I think it must be some kind of bug that nothing is happening after I tap “continue”. For the record, though, here’s a typical “find a named resident” one:

1.1 A box of droid parts has arrived for Bevel Eclipse (probably my favourite name so far). Will you help, Y/N?

1.2 Scroll about a bit — there he is.

1.3 Thanks for your help, here’s an Imperial Dollar (just “bux” in English?).

Here’s a “find the suspect” one:

2.1 Will you help us find a suspected rebel?

    2.2 Searching...

2.3 Found. We’ve identified the suspect as Wicket. Keep an eye on him.

2.4 Wicket gets added to the album. (Note the crazy small text — must be a bug.)

And finally, a couple of “find the spy” messages that don’t lead to anything:

3.1 Random-looking dude. After pressing continue, nothing happens.

    3.2 Leia.

3.3 But again, after pressing continue the game jumps straight back into normal gameplay. No “find this character” banner at the bottom of the screen. This is a bug, right?

In case anyone is curious, this is ver. 1.1.1932 running in Japanese on an iPhone 4 running iOS 7.0.3 in Airplane mode with a wi-fi connection only. (They're going to have to rename that Airplane mode soon, huh.)

I think the "?" characters have to request that they are transported to the level where the cutscene is triggered. Even if you know the correct character/level combination, you can't just deliver them there if they don't want to go. I believe the exception is the lower levels, because you can deliver anyone there at any time, e.g. Leia to Interrogation.

    Glitch-filled on Android

Wondered if this was occuring across the board. I have an ipad, but installed Tiny Death Star on my Note2 because Google Play was offering 10% more bux to start if you download by Saturday. I downloaded the game fresh, and it loaded for the first time in the middle of a game-9 floors, 4 imperial levels, and 15 bux. I was bewildered. Today I log on and have the same build amount, but only 2 bux. No reply from support yet either...

Has anyone had any sound issues? I've been playing for a while (15 or 16 floors) and all of a sudden there's no sound. I've tried toggling it on/off in settings. I've force closed the app and restarted my phone, too. (Mute isn't on, no music apps are open.)

Wow, that is strange. I think you're right, it must be a bug. Have you tried playing in English?

Yup, that's what I'm seeing. By the way, do you know any cutscenes triggered by specific characters? So far, I've gotten four:

    Leia Organa → Interrogation
    IG-88 → Holochess Hall
    Gungan → Mos Espa Cafe
Toydarian or Gungan → Watto's Wares

Did you check if your phone is on vibrate?

Yeah, it isn't on vibrate. It's definitely a glitch.

How about plugging and unplugging an earphone? Maybe that might help.

Love the game so far. Love TT, and like Star Wars, so this was a must have pretty much from the moment I saw it. The Star Wars theme runs deep in the game (the alerts even tell you that a floor 'needs attention before Lord Vader becomes aware').

Bux are definitely harder to come by, but no harder than most other (non-Nimblebit) freemium currencies are to get for free. The time reduction when delivering bitizens is a nice touch, as well as the slightly re-worked VIPs (putting the deliveryman and construction worker together as one VIP was a good call, IMO).

If you tap a couple of times where the continue button should during the Emperor's turn around and tell you how much you've made, you don't have to watch the whole scene. Makes popping in and out palatable again.

I tried now, and to my surprise it worked! I had to change the language settings system-wide, but I was then able to catch Lando and move on to the next mission.

Those are the only ones I've seen, but I think it was Watto that triggered the scene at Watto's Wares (even though it was Jar-Jar that appeared).

Glad it worked. They must've forgotten about it. Hopefully, they'll fix it on the next update.

    I think it's a
Gungan because he's walking into Watto's Wares, similar to Mos Espa Cafe.
Or, it could be a Pit Droid. Also, I have a bad feeling (pun intended) we'll have to "buy" other characters to see other cut scenes.

    Update: You're right! It's a Toydarian activating Watto's Wares.
