The game sparked high, and as it drops from the charts slightly, they do this to boost its ranking and keep the game high up in the charts. Us buying it at the time we did ensured we got it at launch and helped strongly say "we will buy games that have a recovery high price point!" It's not dissimilar to how it happens with console games. Even popular ones will drop in price shortly after. Bioshock drop to $30 about 2 months after it launched, and that's a much larger difference. We ALWAYS put out money being early adopters. Also, it came out OVER a month ago, it launched on May 30th. That's not bad at all. Heck it could have dropped after a week. Just remember, we pay early adopter prices, simple as that, and we get it before anyone who has wasted a month NOT playing the game. Maybe it's just the cost of living in Lebanon, but (no exaggeration) it costs me $10 to order a meal from Hardee's with delivery charges (minus any tips)...and guess what? Sorry for the over-the-top crap (no pun intended), but I indirectly defecate that $10 half a day later. $10 for KOTOR? A steal! Don't pull the "yeah, well you paid $10, I paid $5 for the exact same thing" card out, because honestly I don't care. I'm not trying to sound like I'm such rich twat (on the contrary, heh...I wish), but like Exact-Psience has sometimes said, my personal cost of living is so low that paying $20 on XCOM seems like nothing in the bigger scope of things. Seriously guys, this is the App Store. This crap happens. Either wait it out in the hope that you've saved enough money to throw away on valet parking, or just enjoy the fact that you paid the price the developers wanted you to spend on a beautiful, quality app that doesn't try to stick its hand in your pocket...the very second it came out. The Fresh Prince of Lebalnon-Air Riotgirl Well-Known Member Apr 5, 2012 240 0 0 UK #19 Riotgirl, Jul 11, 2013 I insta-bought on the day of release. Probably one of the few titles I would insta-buy. It's a sunk cost, so doesn't affect my enjoyment of the game. On the other hand - like Mene - such price drops so soon after launch, conditions iOS users to expect price reductions. In a deflationary environment why buy today when you can buy cheaper tomorrow? As Exact-Pscience states, $5 (£2.99) for KOTOR is an absolute steal - if you have enough space on your device and enough time amongst your games to play.
