So far the game is not to bad. I've acquired 9-12 characters and leveled a few of them up a pretty good bit. That's the addicting part to me. Placing all the stat modifiers in slots for each character tweaking their strengths. My sniper drops 800-900 dmg per special. Got my tank up there with high AR/HP plus higher than average dmg. Then all the buffs and debuffs. Those storm troopers that boost their armor plus team heal drive me nuts. Overall not a bad little game so far.
I'm mostly enjoying this. Everything except the battles reminds me of the systems in Marvel Future Fight. I guess that's good. Really enjoying the turn based combat, which is something I enjoyed from playing Avengers Alliance a few years ago; this may be a good enough substitute for that to keep my attention. That being said, and I apologize if this offends anyone, the color scheme in Star Wars is much less exciting than in Marvel games. I don't know Star Wars side characters as well as I know B, C, and D level characters in comics, so I have little interest in most of the tan, white, and brown garbed characters in this game. Overall, I will keep playing for at least a week, then make a more long term decision. Fairly fun so far.
I'm really enjoying this one. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, but this is the best of these time of games I have played. I really like the turn-based gameplay, but still with the option to auto farm the level like all the others of this ilk. I spent a little on it to get Count Dookie (hehe), and just with the free crystals I have a few other 3-star characters. If anyone wants to add me as their Ally (I should be getting a leadership skill or two soon), here is my code: 987-841-276
I WANT to like the game, even though it feels a lot like a minor reskin of all those "assemble a squad of five and auto-battle through everything." Not a complete copy for a change, since it's not all forced auto-battle and there's no "Spend $1,000 and become VIP 15" feature. But man, do the "pay to win" packages hit you fast and furious. Spend $5 for Count Dooku to get an early advantage on the Dark Side missions! Spend $5 for a "daily gems" package that you can renew every week! $25 for a guaranteed 4* HK-47 and 3* IG-88! $40 for a guaranteed Mace Windu! And that's all popped up in the first day-and-a-half. [Edit] And now a $50 package appeared. Slow it down, guys. Just because I gave you $5 for Dooku doesn't mean you need to throw up a new "limited time deal" every six hours ... It's unusual that they restrict you from allies until you hit Level 18 (which really doesn't take too long, as the dailies skyrocket you through levels early on). 349-684-533 if you want to add me, but I'm not really fielding anything too impressive yet.
I have started playing it since yesterday too! I mean you really have to be willing to either grind or pay! Nonetheless since I'm a Star Wars Geek I guess I will keep playing it! I'm Level 25 so far and pretty much upgraded my squad! My Ally Code is: 315-365-651 Best
From what I can tell, stars are just a big stat boost. They never get new skills. You unlock any locked skills with upgrading equipment levels, and then you can upgrade the skills. The cool thing is that every skill upgrade is a major improvement for that skill.
Just started playing this. Pretty fun. I think i am going to play this just so i can get Ventress. Ally code is 316-954-771 I play when i can. Only auto when i am busy doing something.
I'm enjoying the game so far. The good: Collecting the items and completing daily goals is fun. The variety of enemy types, game modes and abilities all combine for a challenging and deep experience. The bad: Collecting the characters without spending a lot of money is more difficult than I would of liked. The special offers seem expensive but they really allow you to enjoy more elements of the game faster. (I bought the Mace pack). The timers are too long of a regen and should be half the time. I know this is a good way for the company to make money but in general timers aren't fun but if they have to exist they shouldn't be so long. All and all I'm having fun and been playing since release. My ally code is 647-844-533 if anyone wants to add me.
Strange... I double checked mine 647-844-533 (image attached) and it looks good to me. I'm in the USA (Texas) and I haven't had any problems adding the other people within this post. On another note, I wonder if people are far enough into the game to have opinions on who they think the best characters are and why. I'm starting to build up enough currency from the squad arena and I'm not sure which characters to start collecting. Still enjoying the game a lot on day 3
Just breached lvl 18 myself. Add me if you'd like. I'll be playing this one for a little while yet. Friend code: 484-199-265
Turns out I didn't know i had already accepted this request. It confused me because instead of saying "already an ally" it said "ally not found".
I feel the same way. I'm loving the gameplay mechanics and I'm a huge Star Wars fan. But the character collecting is painfully slow after you collect that initial 9-10 characters. Accumulating the gems to buy a datacard is long process and once you do you probably only get a handful of shards. The game really wants you to buy into those special offers to get characters. They are tempting but expensive. I'm level 23 now if anyone wants to add me as an ally. 176-649-447 I think the game could stand to have few bugs fixed. At times it seems I can't target certain enemy's when no taunts are active. The graphics also seem to be low resolution in some aspects. I've nearly maxed out my light side team but am struggling to continue the light side battles because I need to level some more. So the game is almost forcing me into waiting for the next daily awards to become active so I have some battles left I can actually complete. Without having to replay earlier missions. I'm also stuck with just 3 dark side characters plus my ally. This going to limit how far I can go on the darkside missions until I get more characters.
I have my light side squad maxed out so far on Level 31! My Dark Side Squad is on the brink of being maxed out! My rank in the Squad Arena is #826! So far I have 14/35 Allies! My Ally Code: 315-365-651 Best, Hide!
Is anyone else having the problem of a red number by the character menu icon but there's nothing to do in there? Am I missing something, or is this a bug?
K so where the hell is my 30 day subscription thingie. Games in this genre invented the feature EA, I wants it... precious.
