The only way to obtain him is exchange him with Shard Tokens in Shard Shop where you need to use normal shard to exchange. I've been playing for about a month now, and since I didn't want to spend real money on the game, I've been trying to manage my "default" Light Side team: -Clone Wars Chewbacca -Jedi Consular -Jawa -Ewok Scout -Clone Seargent Phase I Their average level is 20, and I do want Dooku, but I need to get more of his shards. I can get around 4~6 per day (will take me around 13~16 more days to summon Dooku), and with the Daily Activities, I'm trying to rack up 2,520 crystals to buy the CHROMIUM MEGA-PACK. It's going to take me roughly 13 more days to acquire that many crystals...a guaranteed character is better than no character. Also, I'm racking up on items and XP for when the time comes to use them; I can only hope that I could get a decent character.
Sounds like a plan. First I won't spend my crystal for chromium data pack; you'll regret if you do. Wisely use your crystal for refresh on Light/Dark side battles x 2 and Cantina battle x 1 daily; my current rank is 11 - 50, reward 150 crystals; then finished daily tasks and finished GW then it reward total 200+ crystals. With my purchased daily 100 crystals I go for refresh Light/Dark side battles x 2 times and Cantina battle x 2 times daily. Search the thread for start up guide, for F2P I strong recommend go directly to Droid team, it helps you climb your rank at least one thousand up in couple days; at the beginning is little bit tough but after that you'll thank you me. Again search the thread I post an article how to build Droid team in order and priority. All Droid chars are farmable for F2P. After your rank around 50 - 100 then you start to farm other chars Look at my current lineup: Phasma (lead), Sid, Poggle, Lum and Kylo All farmable chars and not purchase, all 7*, gear 8; currently farming Dooku to 7 *, QGJ to 5*, Resistence Pliot to 7* and Rey slowly... I'm also farming 5 x 5* Jedi for next Yoda event, Lum(7*) Barriss(5*) Mace(5*) QGJ(4*) Koth(4*) other good resources can be found here Other ppl running his Droud team in PvP

After reading, reviewing, and seeing everything, there's no way in hell I'm buying any Chromium Data Packs especially considering I'm not planning on spending any real money on this game. I'll keep to farming and gradually getting stronger.
I envy your Offee. She is a tank (even though she was a traitor in Clone Wars). I've not gotten far enough to unlock her yet.
just got lucky, Offee, Windu and Ima-Gun Di all draw from Bronzium Data card, so I just need to farm them to 5*; Chromium data-pack never gave me good stuff.
I got Ahsoka in a bronze pack on my second day and that was enough to hook me into the game. If there was on player that I really wanted, that was it, I later unlocked Luminara and thought that was pretty cool. Wish they would add Shaak Ti.
It's almost time (F2P) Okay, I'm a Free-To-Play (F2P) [player who does not spend any real money on the game], and I'd like to give you all an update on my current stats dating back to my previous post: I've been playing this game just about everyday for 1.5 months; I carefully and rarely spent my crystals on things, so here's what I got: -I'm currently at LVL 46 -In the Squad Battles, I'm ranked in the 4000s -Credits: 4.02M -Crystals: 2,320 (this is after I spent 300 on Darth Sidious shards) -SIM cards: ~300 -I possess lots of gear both higher and lower tier Battle-Wise, I'm on Light Side 5-A and Dark Side 2-A (both sides NORMAL difficulty). I've been holding back until I got better characters. I am currently still farming for Luminara Unduli, Luke Skywalker, Count Dooku, and Darth Sidious. Shard Progress Report: Luminara: 49/50 Luke Skywalker: 32/50 Count Dooku: 40/50 Darth Sidious: 36/80 I've also just recently considered starting to farm for Geonosian Soldier shards. Once I get Luminara and Dooku, I'm going to try to maximize them in every way possible. Luke and Sidious will later follow. I didn't use any crystals to get ANY Chromium Packs. After watching countless Chromium Pack "openings" on YouTube, I found myself a bit discouraged. My original plan was to buy the Chromium MEGA-PACK, that is, until ImLegend showed me "the light"....references and guides to the entire Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes community. I will use my precious crystals for other things, as there's nothing more sad than earning just enough to buy the Chromium MEGA-PACK after 1.5 months, and then receiving a bunch of random shards (not that many either) for random characters that you don't even want along with a chance to get one or two repeat "guaranteed" characters who you already own being converted to shards. The stakes are too high with Chromium Packs for F2P players. We have to be conservative to the extreme.
I am also f2p. I have about 48 characters. I bought a couple those packs with the shards i earned, now just us my shards for the 2 50 shard energy refills. You don't have to spend a dime on here at all.

Yeah pretty cool. I just auto my pvp game. Not interested in getting frustrated with the one hit kills that the opposition get me with. Lol I am just collecting and leveling and trying to complete all the galactic battles. I wonder if they will make an OP Jar Jar that one hit kills your team but because he trips on something.

Don't worry you will get Vader. Just takes some time. I got him also. I just got my Lumina 7 starred level 70. I have all my guys at least level 50. Im going to work on my jedi team to be level 70 then my dark side.
Here are the update notes for 3/15/16. General Droids Fight Back Event (Google Play Exclusive) in this limited time event players will be required to form a squad of at least 3 droids to face off against the Jawas. The first tier of the event requires the player droids to be 2 star, the second tier 4 star and the final tier 6 star. Players who can complete the event will be rewarded with various prizes, including the chance to receive droid character Shards! Darth Vader has had his stats increased if players raise his star tier to 6 or 7. Before, 6 and 7 star Darth Vader characters had reduced stats due to an exploit that allowed players to receive extra Shards for him. Now that those players are no longer a concern, we have increased the power of 6 and 7 star Darth Vader to its rightful place. The Sullust environment can now be seen in game! Its smoke filled skies and flowing rivers of lava make for a new exciting place to battle. Aurodium Packs have been removed but may make a return in the future. Training Droids are no longer available through shipments, instead there are now 2 options for purchasing Training Droids in the Store: Training Droid Data Card and Training Droid Mega-Pack. New Character(s) Chief Chirpa The Chief of the Ewoks on the Forest Moon of Endor Main Stat: Intelligence Role: Support Species: Ewok Found In: Chromium Packs and Cantina Battle 5-D Basic Bounding Strike Deal Physical damage to target enemy. In addition, Chirpa gains 20% Turn Meter if that enemy had more than 50% Turn Meter. Special #1: Ancestral Secrets All allies recover 10% of their Max Health at the start of their next 2 turns. Ewok allies also gain Retribution for 2 turns, and recover Health for 1 additional turn. Special #2: Tribal Unity Grant all allies Speed Up for 2 turns, then call a random Ewok ally and one other random ally to Assist. These Assists deal 70% less damage. Leader Simple Tactics Ewok allies gain 10% Turn Meter whenever they perform a Basic attack, and other allies gain half that amount. Characters Obi-Wan Kenobi (Old Ben) character shards can now be found for Old Ben in Cantina Battles 2-F and 6-B in addition to Chromium Packs. Unit Descriptions the descriptions for a number of characters have been updated to better describe them. Magmatrooper Shards for Magmatroper can now be obtained from Chromium Packs. Ahsoka Tano Despite her solid offensive stats, Ahsoka has been underperforming due to her unreliable survivability, compounded by low Speed. Her kit has been revised to give her a chance to shine. Basic Energetic Slash Deal Physical damage to target enemy and Ahsoka recovers Health equal to 6% of her Max Health, increased to 9% on a Critical Hit. Special Protective Maneuver Deal Physical damage to target enemy. If the target has 50% Health or more, all allies recover Health equal to 10% of Ahsoka's Max Health. If the target has less than 50% Health, this attack deals 25% more damage instead. Leader Quick Steps Jedi and Nightsister allies have +10% Evasion. NOTE: This abilitys Evasion bonus is unchanged, but its major upgrades now cause each affected ally to gain Turn Meter when they Evade, not just Ahsoka. The Turn Meter gain has been reduced to account for this. Unique Daring Padawan Ahsoka has +25% Health and +25 Speed. Whenever she suffers a Critical Hit, she loses one of these effects (in reverse order.) Whenever she scores a finishing blow, she regains all of them. Bug Fixes Rexs Squad Discipline now gives the correct amount of Turn Meter to non-Clone allies. Rexs Squad Discipline now grants Tenacity up to all allies instead of just himself. The bonus DoT effect applied by Darth Sidiouss Demoralizing Blows on a critical hit can be Resisted. HK-47 no longer gains Offense Up from Superior Firepower before the damage is calculated. Geonosian Soldier no longer gains Offense Up from Aggressive Advance before the damage is calculated. Rey's Flurry of Blows no longer triggers a Counter Attack for each hit. Count Dooku's Leader ability now grants the expected amount of Evasion (was previously granting less than intended.) Multiple characters previously had abilities where their damage would decrease in some cases when upgraded instead of increasing. Additional things being worked on: DoT effects being able to defeat an enemy is still being worked on and will be implemented in a future major update. More characters will have their outdated unit descriptions improved in a future update. More character bug fixes.
