Why you play game? to me it's simple, entertainment! I'm using lot of brain power in my daily work, I would like to play a game that I can sit back & relax without using my brain power too much... well if you're working in McDonald the whole day then you may need some challenges... Do you play minion rush using your chicken brain? I'm not. If I don't like a game, I just walk away and don't even bother to offence or convince other ppl to follow you. many games I liked because of the graphic (e.g. I'm a big fan of Starwars) like it or not is totally personal choice. I also enjoyed playing both XCOMs, Lara Croft GO, Banner Saga which have great graphics. at least I can tell 7000+ people with chicken brains in my area like this game C'mon just sit back & relax or walk away if you don't like it
I was going to reply to that comment but i figure he/she belonged to the "meh" group. Still enjoying this game daily. Since im not trying to make an OP team I am trying to get all my characters at least level 50 before I start making them 55+.
Tried opening the app a few times this morning and stuck on loading cantina? Update coming or just me?!
Repost update from official site: EA_JesseEA_Jesse 7:04PM in Game Updates Greetings Heroes, The day is here that many of you have been waiting for, the level cap increase to 70! Along with the level cap increase comes new Light and Dark Side Battles, Cantina Battles and tiers of Challenges. These new stages will offer character shards available in the hard missions, as well as the new Cantina Battles. Your characters will also have access to new Tiers of Gear as you level them up to 70. Below you will find the levels that you will need to be in order to access these new Stages and Challenges, as well as the exact locations for character shards: New Light Side Battles - Stage 7 opens at player level 63 and includes 8 normal and 4 hard missions. - Hard mission character shard drop locations: 7-A: Finn 7-B: Poe Dameron 7-C: Ima-Gun Di 7-D: Luke Skywalker New Dark Side Battles - Stage 7 opens at player level 67 and includes 8 normal and 4 hard missions. - Hard mission character shard drop locations: 7-A: Poe Dameron 7-B: Rey 7-C: Plo Koon 7-D: Jedi Knight Anakin New Cantina Battles - Stage 5 unlocks at player level 61 and includes 7 new missions. - Character shard drop locations: 5-A: Luke Skywalker 5-C: Finn 5-E: Talia 5-G: Clone Wars Chewbacca - Stage 6 unlocks at player level 69 and includes 7 new missions. - Character shard drop locations: 6-A: Barriss Offee 6-C: Kylo Ren 6-E: Jedi Consular 6-G: Count Dooku New Challenges - New tiers will unlock for all available challenges as players level from 60-70, offering greater rewards. Additional Notes - Credit Droids will no longer drop from daily login rewards or challenges, they will instead be replaced with their credit equivalent. - Princess Leia has had her ability Hair Trigger fixed to match the description. There was previously a bug that would allow this ability to attack up to 4 times instead of the intended 3. - The icons for Darth Mauls abilities Raging Storm and Whirling Blades were incorrect and have now been swapped. - Kylo Rens ability Ragged Cut can no longer apply a damage over time effect if the attack is dodged. - Chewbacca will no longer taunt if he is the last standing character in a squad.
Wow Dooku and Jedi Luke are farmable in Cantina! Speeding up to level 69!!! Too bad no new characters yet, where is my yoda!!??? Seems they fix the retreat glitch on GW, don't use it that it will reset enemies health, dead chars and etc
I'm hoping you are correct and it is Jedi Luke and not just Luke Skywalker. Thanks for letting us know that the fix for retreat makes it no longer worthwhile. GW just got a little harder for me.
I'm wrong for Jedi Luke (always dream about it) but at least Barriss and Dooku are farmable now The retreat glitch fix is confirmed, Retreat is basically 'retry' now. you can join the complain here : https://www.reddit.com/r/SWGalaxyOfHeroes/comments/40zdlw/psa_retreating_in_galactic_war_will_now_reset/
after the updated I played for 3 days now, I can completed GW 3 times, success rate is 100%. Without the retreat glitch, I can mix use of the "cannon fodder" strategy to abs most of the special atk from last 4~5 matches (I got 3+ sets of level 30 - 50); on the other hand I make use of more healers, after match 5~6 I replaced tanks/attackers with more healers: Barriss(4*, VII gear, leader) + Lum(7*, VII gear) + Daka (6*, VII gear), Talia (5*, VII gear) and Sid (7*, VIII gear), I'm lucky to get Barriss but I think you can replace her with JC is fine too, the idea is to heal every couple turns if possible. Daka can stun people & revive dead teammates, Barriss can heal & bypass "healing immunity" from Sid, Vadar or Kylo I used 200 crystals per day: - 100 crystals refill on cantina energies - 50 x 2 crystals refill on normal energies But I can gain them back from 1) Squad Arena: rewards #21-#50 with 150 crystals 2) > 50 crystals from Galactic War + complete Daily Activities UPDATE: GW completion 6/6 success rate 100%
Right before the change happened, there was just 1 battle between me and finishing a GW. Now I'm sitting back at the 3rd set of matches, 6-8. Hm. I see how your roster is working. Just brute force the "easier" matches since you outclass the opponents and heal the opposition into submission for the harder matches. My rooster is not as deep nor is it as developed. Now I have something else to farm up. Right now, I'm trying to get my Arena squad a bit better so I can break 1000. Each day, I'm leveling another level and my rooster cannot keep pace. I'm facing purple 5*'s when I've got 3* and a couple 4* with blue. Good to know that at least someone has a deep enough rooster to hand the changes.
In GW, Cannon Fodder means "Chars that you seldom trained up that you put in as sacrificial lambs." Like what I said before I got 3+ sets of "cannon fodder" from level 30-50. So not just change the roster, but use "cannon fodder" is very important. Wisely planned how many set(s) of cannon fodder you can use, and when to use. Note: In latest update, all "cannon fodder" must die in single match so the enemies' special atk won't reset in next match. Retreat won't work anymore.
Thanks for the pointers. I tried something along those lines last night and got further than I did before the change. It is clear that I need to develop a deeper rooster. Now that I've tried my hand at a chromium pack, my curiosity is sated. If I feel the need to use crystals, it'll be on the energy refills to drop the mats I need to promote and equip my heroes.
So regret to promote Chewie to 7*, it is too slow to taunt before some of teammate die or serious injury, especially facing team with Dooku + Kylo + Phasma. I should switch to farm Kylo when Chewie is 5*, now slowly farming Kylo... sigh~ GW completion (using 3 healers - Borris[leader] + Daka + Lum + Dooku + Sid): 13/13 days; success rate is 100% PvP: Jan-20 4/5 attempts; win rate 80%; rank#36 Jan-21 1/5 attempts; win rate 20%; rank#45 Jan-22 2/5 attempts; win rate 40%; rank#51 Jan-23 4/5 attempts; win rate 80%; rank#44 (replace 7* chewie with 6* phasma) Jan-24 3/5 attempts; win rate 60%; rank#53 Jan-25 2/5 attempts; win rate 40%; rank#51 Jan-26 4/5 attempts; win rate 80%; rank#39 Jan-27 4/5 attempts; win rate 80%; rank#43 Jan-28 5/5 attempts; win rate 100%; rank#24 (upgrade Daka to 7*, time to farm QGJ) Jan-29 4/5 attempts; win rate 80%; rank#17
I'm building a counter attack team slowly based on this guide Update: replace Chewie with Phasma and had a much better result
Which good because i have a 2 star guy and he gets killed quickly but he is to good not to have in the lineup
