I never played CoC but this game is fun. I just play it casually as a pastime. The art and sound are good and the graphics are great too. I'm excited to really open it up
So far it seems to have an extremely slow economy. Also I went with empire but would also like to see the rebellion....
Star Wars: Commander - (by LucasArts) Yeah, i think it need at least 3 hours for ressources at level 3.
No need ? It was obviously going to happen. When clash of clans started making so much money of course there'll be clones. Same with any successful game on the App Store
When there's a debate over how much of a game a game is, it's probably better to move onto other things. Bring on Star Wars Battlefront from DICE.
It' a long way before we'll get this. Maybe not until end of next year. So meanwhile. I want to build a ####ing good Empire base for Darth Vader
Pity the AI is so horrifically bad. I deleted this because units with a wide open lane to a building or turret will stop to shoot a meaningless chunk of wall WHILE BEING SHOT IN THE FACE by a minion 3 feet away.
By that logic there was no need for Clash of Clans either - Supercell did not originate this game genre, they just managed to pull off an iteration of a well worn style of online game that clicked with people and went viral. Don't fall for equating "becoming successful at doing something" with "coming up with that something". I don't know how much patience I'll have for this, but even as someone who finally deleted CoC (after more than 18 months) and even Boom Beach earlier this summer for "been there, done that" reason, I'm, so far, loving the fan service in this game. Sure, odds are that once the novelty of watching wookies advance in groups with their bowcasters wears off it will get deleted, but it's well done for a fresh launch in this sub-genre of online games and setting.
Getting into it a bit more now, I like how more story is added to this game and that it seems like limited time events for special troops were added? Be good to see special content to be able to get as long as it's not all IAP. Although my favourite in this genre at the minute is Dino on Fire, it's a CoC type but has a lot more differences than most. I posted in the thread.
Question for those who are playing this: Do you have to have an extensive friends list to play this? Or do you have to link with Facebook? I don't like games that expect you to have a huge friends list.
Had it since Thursday and not at all for me so far, generally on these games you don't need social media at all for anything other than sometimes saving data.
I never annoy any friends on Facebook with game rubbish. I've played this a lot and haven't added any friends or annoyed facebook friends. Don't worry
For those who are complaining about the silly troops. Maybe this would be fixe in a upcoming update. Never say never.
