I have some questions about this game. I'm a star wars fan but I'm not overly familiar with this particular game. Is this something I can play solo, or does it one of those world of warcraft type things where the point is to play with 5 million other people? Also, is this game mainly about building your character, or are there actual things to do? Like battles, quests, etc? I can find lots of info about how amazing the game is, but I'm coming up short on what actually HAPPENS in this game. Any help would be appreciated.
It's all single player RPG. You do quests and side quests. Fairly basic RPG formula. Also has different endings depending on your decisions and light side dark side affinity.
Sorry to join in.... but can I ask why its easier to install via your PC? I'm guessing it's this? : When downloading via your iPad you have to have double the installed size when installing it. Via the PC...do you just need the install size? Thanks
Well I've never really played an RPG game (unless grand theft auto counts) but this sounds interesting and since I do love star wars (for some reason) I think I'll pull the trigger. Now my only question is, if this takes place 4000 years before star wars, how do they have such advanced technology? I guess they had no real advancements in tech over that 4000 year span? I kid of course but I am curious about that.
Oh wait, I do have one more real question actually. Anyone tried this on an ipad mini? I'm wondering if it's playable or too crowded.
It's a Solo game (no Multiplayer at all) It's about building your char(s) and....lightsabers It has a lot of battles, quests,(well known)planets, places, creatures,NPC's and even some great minigames in bars (you can even make credits with them to buy new stuff). It has one of the coolest droids i saw in all SW games and movies. And it can be a member of your party It has a great story(telling)and lot of this"aaah...STAR WARS"moments. It's one of the (if not THE)best interactive star wars experience you can have on a computer/console/tablet It's Star Wars and no clone wars,Anakin,Jarjar Binks or shit like that arround the corner. And the force will be with you if you grab it now.Always.
No.. GTA is nothing close to an RPG. You're joking right? I hope you enjoy it, RPG's are the BEST type of game that exists, when done right.
Played an hour or so of it on my ipad mini - it works a treat. I got used to the controls quite quickly and the whole interface works really well. Only played this a little bit originally, but this version seems much slicker with graphical improvements. And so far so good - working like a dream. I can see this becoming quite a time sink...
That is correct. if a game = 1 Gb Through Itunes = 1 x 1 = 1 Gb Through Maxi,mini pad = 2 1/2 x 1 = 2 1/2 Gb Need to multiply it with 2.5 (download / temp / install size)
"No.. GTA is nothing close to an RPG. You're joking right?" Well no, I really wasn't, cuz I've never really played an RPG. They always looked like too much work but I also never really found one that seemed interesting. Now that I have access to a star wars one, it seems like a great place to begin. And also, as crabman pointed out, there's nothing prequel related, which raises my interest even more. All that clone crap really bores the hell out of me.
I may not have an iPad but at least I got the PC version,so I guess I'll stick around on this thread to help you guys should be simple since I play the game a ton still
Runs great on mine. Have had no hiccups whatsoever other than the huge install requirements on my little 16 GB model.
