If they don't do shadows for iPad 4, it's maybe because they probably got money from Apple to only support iPad Air. Like Infinity Blade III devs probably got paid to only support iOS 7, after the initial release. There is no technical reason for no shadows. iPad 4 runs the game smoothly at full frames.
I'm so excited for this, I'm tempted to just buy the iPad version now and wait to update it, but I'm holding off in case they have a sale when the update goes live. BTW anyone know if Thursday updates usually go live Wednesday night like the new releases?
I hope the update releases tonight. I cant wait to play this on my 5S and have it with me all the time. Not to mention this is gonna take a ton of space to instal so i have to wait to install other new releases until after i install this. Best week of releases every year.
Not sure if this is allowed or not but I just won a code for Knights of the Old Republic on twitter, thing is , I recently bought a copy. I would love to trade it for a Lords of Waterdeep code if someone is willing. Please pm me as I don't want this thread littered with non game related posts.
I'm self-proclaimed unreliable source on the subject, but I seem to recall that developers have full power over update releases (once they are approved), and that there is indeed a tradition of timing drastic patches (of which Universal support is a prime example) in line with the wednesday/thursday release window. However, that might be nothing but wishfulness.
Well I can't find it in the UK at the moment. Any links appreciated Happy most important release night of the year everyone !
Where'd you see that? The version on the Mac App Store has been on sale all week, but I'm still seeing the iPad version at $9.99.
Well the iPad version has now dropped to $4.99 on the US app store. Hopefully that update is incoming really soon!
Humm... Tough week to have to pick and choose, but if this drops for iphone at $4.99 gonna have to pick this up instead of the Shadow Sun. Wish these devs would stagger the epic RPG releases some
That 148apps regurgitated press release seemed like speculation, but the Aspyr site has been updated to say that the iPhone/Universal version is out. It' snot out as I write this (midnight on Thursday morning) but it's probably almost here. http://support.aspyr.com/entries/21650559-KOTOR-for-the-iPad-FAQ?utm_source=MacApp&utm_medium=SupportLink&utm_campaign=star-wars-knights-of-the-old-republic-ios Sadly no icloud support, but they do explain how to move the files manually using iTunes and a computer, which is something. Edit: update is out now.
